Clinical Study On Tongfu Huazhuo Decoction In Treating Essential Hypertension(damp-heat Syndrome)

Objective:Essential hypertension is the most common cardiovascular disease and a major public health problem worldwide.On the basis of literature collection and reading,combined with many years of clinical experience of the mentor,this subject has observed and studied the clinical efficacy and safety of Tongfu Huazhuo Decoction in treating primary hypertension with damp-heat syndrome,providing theoretical basis and clinical data for improving the treatment level and expanding the treatment ideas.Methods:From April 2018 to April 2019,80 patients with essential hypertension who met the research criteria were collected from the clinic of Dong Guiying,Department of Hypertension,Jinan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Three patients fell off during the experiment.Finally,39 patients in the experimental group and 38 patients in the control group were included in the statistical results.After medication,the antihypertensive efficacy and TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were observed respectively.Results:After the study,the subjects of the two groups improved in all aspects,and there was a difference between the two groups before and after treatment(p<0.05).The experimental group was significantly better than the control group inantihypertensive effect,improvement of TCM syndrome,reduction of body mass index and improvement of stool characteristics(p<0.05),and the lipid-lowering effect was slightly better than the control group(p<0.05).Conclusion:Tongfu Huazhuo Decoction has a better clinical effect in the treatment of primary hypertension with damp-heat syndrome,especially in antihypertensive effect and improvement of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome,which is more significant than oral western medicine alone,and can obviously improve the clinical symptoms of patients and control the blood pressure level.
