Clinical Study On Treatment Of Senile Functional Constipation Of Qi And Yin Deficiency Syndrome With Yiqi Yangyin Tongbian Granule

Objective:The clinical study is to observe the clinical efficacy of Yiqi Yangyin Tongbian Granule in the treatment of functional constipation in the elderly with qi and yin deficiency,and to provide a new method and basis for the treatment of functional constipation in the elderly.Methods:66 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomized into a trial group and a control group.each group has 33 cases.The experimental group was given Yiqi Yangyin Tongbian Granules and the control group was given polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder.The course of treatment was 4 weeks.Then observe the defecation before and after treatment,recorde the symptom scores and evaluate the efficacy.The patients were followed up for 4 weeks after stopping the drug and then observe the recurrence rate.Results:66 patients were exfoliated in 4 cases,3 in the experimental group,and 1 in the control group.A total of 62 patients completed this clinical observation.The total effective rate of the experimental group and the control group were 93.3% and 71.9%,the test group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05),The total scores of symptoms in the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).The test group and the control group were equally effective in improving the difficulty of defecation,frequency of defecation,defecation time and stool trait(P>0.05).The experimental group improved the patient’s fall and Symptoms such as insensitivity,dizziness,dry mouth,weakness,insomnia and dreams were superior to the control group(P<0.01).The recurrence rates of the two groups after follow-up for 4 weeks were 28.6% and 56.5%,respectively,and the test group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: Yiqi Yangyin Tongbian Granules has a significant effect on the treatment of functional and constipation in the elderly with qi and yin deficiency,it can significantly improve clinical symptoms,and can reduce the long-term recurrence rate.It has obvious advantages for the treatment of this disease.
