| As a product of the development of the information and communication technologies, mobile health applications can be a typical example of Internet medical care, bringing great value to health care and social development. In recent years, mobile health applications have emerged one after another in the application market, and the number of mobile health application users continues to grow. However, users do not always use the application continuously, showing the phenomenon of low user stickiness.Users are service recipients of mobile health applications, who can not only enjoy the convenience brought by mobile medical technology, but also may face the risks brought by service defects.Users are also the source of vitality for the sustainable development of the application market. The study of user’s behavior is of great significance to promote the design of application programs that are more in line with the needs of users, and to improve the health management of the whole people.By reviewing the previous literature,it can be found that the related research of mobile health applications mostly focuses on the development, design, use and evaluation of the application itself, and have not paid too much attention to the discontinuous usage of this type of information system.Research on discontinuous usage intension is still in the preliminary stage of exploration. It is often used to discuss the discontinuous usage intension of social media such as Facebook.Few studies have focused on the research of information systems in the field of mobile health. Therefore, the discontinuous usage intension of mobile health applications may be a gap in the current health field and user behavior research.Existing studies have the following shortcomings: the only literature that focuses on the discontinuous usage intension of mobile health applications is from the perspectives of perceived benefits and perceived risks, and there is no literature on whether technological overload will also affect the discontinuous usage intentions of mobile health application users.Mobile health applications have their own convenience characteristics, and mobile health applications themselves can be used at anytime and anywhere to bring people an important feeling of life infringement, there is no in-depth study of life invasion in the literature. Therefore,in order to respond to the above shortcomings, this paper designs the following research. From the perspectives of technology overload and life invasion, this paper builds a model of the influence mechanism of mobile health application users’ discontinuous usage intension based on the stressor-strain-outcome model, and proposes corresponding hypotheses. This study adopts the questionnaire survey method, designs questionnaires by drawing on mature scales at home and abroad, and uses the form of electronic questionnaires to conduct pre-survey and formal survey, and finally obtain 382 valid questionnaires. Then use SPSS26.0 software and Smart PLS3.3software to test and analyze the data quality, path analysis and model estimation, and verify the research hypothesis through the structural equation model method. The results show that information overload, system feature overload, and life invasion have a significant positive impact on mobile health application fatigue;information overload, system feature overload have a significant positive impact on dissatisfaction;mobile health application fatigue and dissatisfaction have a significant positive impact on users’ discontinuous usage intension. The research results have a positive effect on the research in the field of mobile health and user behavior, explored the influence path of technology overload and life invasion on discontinuous usage intension, and expanded the application of the stressor-strain-outcome model in analyzing the behavior of mobile health users. It also has enlightening significance for application developers to design and operate mobile health applications. |
