Research On The Characteristics And Coping Strategies Of Violent Medical Incidents In My Country

At the beginning of 2020,when the epidemic broke out,the majority of medical staff were fighting in a special period on the front line of the epidemic.Violent medical incidents frequently appeared in the newspapers,which aroused great concern and widespread discussion in the society.Violent medical injuries have greatly damaged the personal safety and enthusiasm of medical staff and the health rights of other patients,severely disrupted the work order of medical institutions,wasted valuable medical and health resources,and hindered the development of our country’s medical and health services.In response to the problem of violent injuries and medical treatment,Chinese government,society and medical institutions themselves have taken many countermeasures and achieved certain results,but there are still certain problems: the relevant legal mechanisms are flawed,the binding force is not strong,the process of resource balance allocation is slow,and the implementation of grassroots action units is not in place,insufficient public opinion guidance,insufficient awareness of risk prevention in medical institutions,and imperfect crisis management,and lack of targeted response measures.Therefore,studying the characteristics of violent medical incidents in China,drawing on foreign governance experience,and proposing targeted response strategies is of great significance to the construction of a harmonious doctor-patient relationship and the smooth advancement of a healthy China strategy.In view of this,this study used CNKI,Wanfang,China News,Sina News,The Paper,etc.,and searched for keywords such as "violent wounded doctor","injured doctor","medical-patient dispute",etc.,search time January 2011 From 1st to December 30 th,2020,select the violent medical news that occurred during the period.A total of 455 violent medical news cases in the past ten years were collected.The time,location,and characters of the violent medical incident were analyzed.Organize,summarize and summarize the characteristics of violent wounded doctors in my country through quantitative analysis of the literature.Findings: Violent medical incidents occurred in the past ten years.In general,violent medical incidents increased first and then decreased,most violent medical incidents occurred in economically developed areas in the central and eastern regions;tertiary hospitals had the most incidents,followed by second-level hospitals,first-level hospitals,and other medical institutions have fewer incidents;emergency departments,pediatrics,surgery,internal medicine and other departments have frequent traumatic incidents;violent wounded doctors have complex and diverse motives for violence;violent methods are diverse and malignant traumatic incidents are high.The perpetrators are mostly young and middle-aged men on the affected side;The victims are mostly young and middle-aged medical staff.Based on the characteristics of violent wounded doctors in our country,combined with the current situation and problems,and borrowed from foreign violent wounded doctors’ response strategies,based on the theory of public governance and crisis management,the following strategies are proposed to deal with violent wounded doctors from three levels:government level,reasonably increase public health investment,promote the construction of a close medical consortium,improve the relevant laws and regulations and to develop behavior guidelines,extensively carry out popular medical science education,and strengthen the linkage of hospitals,media,and government;at the hospital level,enhance its own service capabilities and quality,improve crisis prevention,and strengthen post-crisis management;at the social and public levels,actively play the role of social organizations,establish the correct guidance of public opinion,popularize legal knowledge relevant public.
