Objective:To investigate the prevalence of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in Cangzhou city and to explore the related risk factors.Methods:A unified epidemiological questionnaire questionnaire survey and lung function test was conducted on permanent residents aged 40 from 12 survey points in Cangzhou during the period from March 2019 to July 2020.The FEV1/FVC<70% after inhalation of bronchodilator was used as the diagnostic criteria for COPD to count the prevalence rate and analyze related risk factors.Results:The amount of questionnaires with complete and available data is4306.There were 1140 questionnaires with scores ≥16,accounting for 26.5%of the surveyed population,of which 569 cases with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease diagnosed and it accounts for 13.2% of the total surveyed population.Among them,there were 324 males with a prevalence rate of16.3%,and 245 females with a prevalence rate of 10.6%.The logistic regression analysis results shows that gender(OR value is 1.483),smoking index(OR value is 10.370),history of cough and asthma in childhood(OR value 6.311),family history of respiratory diseases(OR value is 1.601),history of biofuel exposure(OR value is 6.218)and so on are related to the prevalence of COPD.Conclusion:The prevalence rate of COPD for the people aged 40 and over in Cangzhou is relatively high,and it is closely related to gender,age,smoking index,history of cough and asthma in childhood,family history of respiratory diseases,history of biofuel exposure,etc.Early prevention and treatment should be done.
