| Objective To investigate the operation techniques for mastoptosis, observe the effect of double-plane anatomical prosthesis implantation on correcting mild mastoptosis, compare and analyze the effect and complications of modified double-loop method and Lejour method in the treatment of moderate and severe breast ptosis, and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of surgical methods. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 60 patients undergoing breast ptosis correction in the plastic surgery center of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University or consultation cases from other hospitals, with a total of120 breasts, among which 14 were implanted with prosthesis alone(group A),20 with modified double-loop method(group B)and 26 with Lejour method(group C).Postoperative follow-up was conducted for 3 to 6 months.Postoperative areola diameter was measured, and breast morphology were scored, together with vancouver scar scale(VSS)score. The differences in areola diameter,VSS and breast morphology score between the double-loop method and the Lejour goup were compared to statistically evaluate whether there was any difference in the incidence of complications. Results In group A,The average diameter of areola was 4.5 cm,the average score of VSS was 0.36(0~15),and the mean score of breast morphology was 9.29(0~10).The postoperative areola diameter,VSS and breast morphology score of the Lejour method were all better than that of the double-loop method significantly(P < 0.01),and there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion Dual-plane anatomic prosthesis implantation has a satisfactory effect on the treatment of mild breast ptosis, with small and concealed scar,as well as the effect of lifting and volume improvement. The effect of Lejour method in patients with moderate and severe breast ptosis is better than that of the double-loop method, which can obtain a satisfactory improvement effect and breast contour, and is worthy of promotion. |
