In this paper, combined with people’s eating habits and health needs, using the traditional research methods of traditional Chinese medicine,on the basis of sorting out the literature related to dietotherapy in Jin and Yuan dynasties, and using the theoretical research methods of summary, analysis and comparison, classification and comparison, this paper makes a systematic study on the theory of dietotherapy in Jin and Yuan dynasties. This paper starts with the concept of dietotherapy, combs the development of dietotherapy theory in previous dynasties, and studies the dietotherapy theory in Jin and Yuan dynasties on the basis of summarizing the characteristics of dietotherapy theory before Jin and Yuan dynasties.Through the analysis of the political, economic and social factors that influenced the development of dietotherapy theory in Jin and Yuan dynasties, the background of its development was studied. The research period selected in this study is from 1115 AD to the establishment of the Ming Dynasty in 1368,including the late Northern Song Dynasty,Liao Dynasty,Southern Song Dynasty,Jin Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty.Based on this, representative works and doctors are selected as the main objects of study. One by one,the works are analyzed and summarized, among which the works are divided into three categories:first, dietotherapy works, such as Yin Shan Zhengyao,A New Book for the Aged.Dietetic Notes;Second, the prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine, such as Puji Ben Shi Fang,Furen Daquan Liangfang,Shiyi Dexiao Fang,Yuyao Yuanfang,Yishuo;Third,non-medical works such as ShanJiaWingGong,Collection of Dietetic system of Yunlin Tang,Complete Collection of Household essential things.Representative physicians include Liu Wansu,Zhang Congzheng and Zhu Danxi.Through the above research, this paper summarizes the characteristics of dietotherapy theory in Jin and Yuan dynasties, and discusses the content of dietotherapy theory from four aspects:basic principle, application principle, prescription selection principle and food prohibition, and explores the application law of dietotherapy prescription in Jin and Yuan Dynasty through data analysis. It aims to master the theory of food therapy in the Jin and Yuan dynasties, improve the status of food therapy in disease prevention and treatment, and guide the practice of modern food therapy. The full text is divided into eight parts:l)The meaning of dietotherapy and the development of dietotherapy theory. This part discusses the concept of dietotherapy, the development of dietotherapy theory, the present situation of dietotherapy theory before Jin and Yuan dynasties, and the influence of dietotherapy theory on Ming and Qing dynasties and modern times. The first section defines the concept of dietotherapy by tracing back to the source. The second section combs the development of dietotherapy theory from the Shang and Zhou dynasties to the Ming and Qing dynasties:the sprout of dietotherapy in the Shang and Zhou dynasties had a theoretical embryonic form in the pre-Qin and Han dynasties, developed rapidly in the Wei,Jin,Sui and Tang dynasties, improved in the Song,Jin and Yuan dynasties, and tended to mature in the Ming and Qing dynasties. The third section summarizes the current situation of dietotherapy theory before Jin and Yuan dynasties as follows:no distinction between food and medicine, the same use of medicine and food;take the strengths of a hundred families, pay attention to dietary taboos:dietotherapy methods are diverse and dosage forms are rich.In the fourth section, the theory of dietotherapy in Jin and Yuan dynasties had a certain influence on the Ming and Qing dynasties from three aspects:the type of dietotherapy, the theory of meridian tropism and the application of porridge. The fifth section of the Jin and Yuan dynasties diet light and fat pay attention to the compatibility of the two aspects of modern use of dietotherapy for reference.2)The background of the development of dietotherapy in the Jin and Yuan dynastiesThis part divides the background of the development of dietotherapy in the Jin and Yuan dynasties into political, economic and social aspects, and analyzes them respectively.Politically, the rulers attached importance to the development of medicine and set up special medical institutions, such as the establishment of local pharmacies in the Song Dynasty, the overall adoption of the Han system in the Jin Dynasty, and the establishment of Guanghui Division in the Yuan Dynasty.it has greatly promoted the exchange of medical experience among ethnic groups.Economically, science and technology have developed, and printing has promoted the preservation and spread of medical works. The Jin Dynasty attached importance to agricultural production and the variety of crops increased, which laid a material foundation for the development of dietotherapy. In terms of social culture, during the period of minority rule, the rulers attached importance to the Han culture and actively integrated with the minority culture, and the people paid attention to health care.Because the rulers attached great importance to medicine, coupled with economic development and national integration, medical schools bloomed in full bloom, which was a remarkable feature of the Jin and Yuan dynasties, which was different from other times.therefore, they had unique views on dietotherapy theories and methods.3)Investigation of Medical related works in Jin and Yuan dynastiesThis part is divided into five sections for research. The first section classifies and lists the works related to dietotherapy in the Jin and Yuan dynasties, from which some representative works are selected as the carrier of the research. The second section studies the representative Yin Shan Zhengyao,A New,Book for the Aged,Dietetic Notes, which are representative in the Jin and Yuan dynasties. The third section studies the contents of dietotherapy in the five prescriptions of Puji Ben Shi Fang,Furen Daquan Liangfang,Shiyi Dexiao Fang,Yuyao Yuanfang,Yishuo. The fourth section studies the three non-medical works:ShanJiaWingGong,Collection of Dietetic system of Yunlin Tang,Complete Collection of Household essential things. The fifth section studies the dietotherapy-related contents of Liu Wansu,Zhang Congzheng and Zhu Danxi. This part will analyze and summarize the selected works related to dietotherapy in Jin and Yuan dynasties and physicians one by one,and sort out the basic contents of dietotherapy theory in Jin and Yuan dynasties.4)The content of dietotherapy theory in Jin and Yuan dynastiesThis part is divided into four sections to summarize and discuss in detail the theory of dietotherapy in Jin and Yuan dynasties. The first section summarizes the basic principles of dietotherapy theory into four aspects:the holistic view of yin and yang, the theory of essence, the theory of compatibility of nature and taste, and the theory of spleen and stomach. The second section summarizes the three application principles of health preservation, disease prevention and health care, the sharing of medicine and food, and the repeated application of food supplement and disease prevention after illness. The third section puts forward three prescription selection principles of syndrome differentiation, disease differentiation and body differentiation. The fourth section puts forward the requirements from the food ban at 04:00,at ordinary times, during illness and after illness.Through four sections, the main contents of dietotherapy theory in Jin and Yuan dynasties are further clarified from the point of view of theory and application.5)The present situation of dietotherapy theory in Jin and Yuan dynasties. The theory of dietotherapy in the Jin and Yuan dynasties is mainly reflected in four aspects:first, taking measures according to personal conditions, feeding in stages;second, making meals due to illness, syndrome
