Objective:This study is devoted to evaluate the effect of tamsulosin combined with hot pack on urination after BPH patients mixed hemorrhoids, evaluate its effectiveness and safety in preventing postoperative urinary retention, and explore its principle.By these,we hope to provide an effective and feasible treatment for preventing postoperative urinary retention in elderly patients with BPH.Methods:A total of 90 patients who underwent mixed hemorrhoid surgery in the Department of traditional Chinese and Western Medicine anorectal Department of Nanchong Central Hospital from September 2019 to September 2020 were selected.A total of 90 patients met the inclusion and exclusion criteria.According to the order of hospitalization, the patients were randomly divided into three groups:group A(n=30),group B(n=30),and group C(n=30).External stripping and internal ligation of mixed hemorrhoids were performed under sacral anaesthesia. The incidence of urinary retention, the time of first micturition, the volume of first micturition, the score of micturition condition, the score of abdominal symptoms and the score of micturition time were compared among the three groups. The data were statistically analyzed by SPSS25.0.Results:There was no significant difference in age, course of disease, surgical incision and operation time among the three groups(P>0.05).The incidence of urinary retention in group A,group B and group C was 13.3%,36.6%and 43.3%,respectively,which was significantly lower in group A than in group B and C among them, group A was superior to group B and C in terms of first voiding time, first voiding volume, micturition status score, lower abdominal symptom score and voiding time score(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of urinary retention, first micturition time, first voiding volume, micturition status score, abdominal symptom score and voiding time score between group B and group C(P>0.05).Conclusion:Tamsulosin combined with hot pack can effectively improve the postoperative voiding status of BPH patients with mixed hemorrhoids and reduce the incidence of postoperative urinary retention.Compared with the single use of tamsulosin or thermostat, the combined use of tamsulosin is more beneficial to the recovery of postoperative bladder function, with good clinical efficacy and high safety,so it is worthy of clinical promotion. |
