Objective:Comparison of the clinical efficacy of Arthroscopic release sequential joint perfusion and simple joint perfusion in the treatment of frozen shoulder during pain. Methods:A retrospective study was conducted on 55 patients with frozen shoulder during primary pain treated in the first affiliated Hospital of Nanhua University from August 2018 to September 2020.Among them,25 patients were treated with arthroscopic release and sequential joint perfusion as the study group.30 patients who received simple joint perfusion were taken as the control group. The passive range of motion(flexion, abduction, external rotation, internal rotation)of shoulder joint was collected before intervention,1 week,4 weeks,3 months and 6months after intervention and the changes of VAS score,UCLA shoulder score,DASH upper limb function score and complications after treatment. The data were analyzed by SPSS21.0 statistical software, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Results:There was no significant difference in age, course of disease, sex and the proportion of diabetes between the two groups(P>0.01).After treatment, the passive range of motion(flexion, abduction, external rotation, internal rotation)and other outcome indexes(VAS,UCLA and DASH scores)in all patients were significantly improved as compared with those before treatment(all P<0.01).The passive activity and UCLA scores of the study group were significantly higher than those of the control group at 1 week,4 weeks,3 months and 6 months after treatment, while the DASH scores of the study group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference in VAS scores between the two groups at each time point after treatment(P>0.01).In the study group, the passive range of motion(abduction, external rotation, internal rotation)improved continuously to6 months after treatment(P<0.01).The range of flexion continued to improve to 3 months after treatment(P<0.01),but there was no difference between 3 months and 6 months(P>0.01).In the control group, the passive range of motion(flexion, abduction, external rotation, internal rotation)did not improve 1 week after treatment(P>0.01),but continued to improve to 6 months after 1 week(P<0.01).The VAS scores of both groups decreased continuously to 3 months after treatment(P<0.01),and there was no difference between 3 months and 6 months(P>0.01).The scores of UCLA and DASH in both groups were improved continuously up to 6 months after treatment(P <0.01).Conclusions:Arthroscopic release sequential joint perfusion and simple joint perfusion can effectively relieve pain, improve range of motion and restore shoulder function in patients with frozen shoulder during pain period. But the former works faster and the effect is better.
