Clinical Observation Of Two Different Internal Fixation Methods Combined With Herbal Fumigation In The Treatment Of Humeral Shaft Fracture In Children

Objective: To compare the clinical effect between closed reduction elastic intramedullary nail fixation and open reduction plate fixation combined with Huoxue Zhitong powder fumigation in the treatment of humeral shaft fractures in children.Objective to provide an effective method for diagnosis,treatment and rehabilitation of humeral shaft fractures in children.Methods: 60 cases were divided into observation group and control group according to different treatment methods for humeral shaft fracture in Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of traditional Chinese medicine from 2018 to 2020.The observation group was treated with closed reduction and elastic intramedullary nail internal fixation,and the control group was treated with open reduction and plate internal fixation,30 cases in each group.By analyzing the incision length,operation time,intraoperative blood loss and fracture healing time of the above two methods,the neer score of shoulder joint and Mayo score of elbow joint function were used for clinical evaluation 3 months and 6 months after operation,and the treatment effect of the two groups was summarized through statistical analysis.Results: the average incision length,operation time,intraoperative blood loss,fracture healing time,shoulder and elbow scores of the observation group were better than those of the control group,the difference was statistically significant,and there was no significant difference in shoulder and elbow scores of the two groups at 6 months after operation.Conclusion: compared with open reduction plate fixation group,closed reduction elastic intramedullary nail fixation group has shorter operation time,less intraoperative blood loss,smaller incision,shorter clinical healing time,less damage when removing the internal fixation,and faster recovery of shoulder and elbow joint function after operation.However,there is no significant difference in the final treatment effect between the two groups,and plate internal fixation is more suitable for fractures with severe separation and destruction.
