Clinical Observation Of Modified Huanglian Wendan Decoction Combined With Yasmin In The Treatment Of PCOS Patients With Phlegm-dampness Obesity

Objective:To explore the therapeutic effect of modified Huanglian Wendan decoction combined with Yasmin in the treatment of phlegm-damp obesity polycystic ovary syndrome,in order to find a better therapeutic scheme for clinical treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome.Methods: A total of 60 patients with obese phlegm-dampness PCOS were randomly divided into two groups: the treatment group treated with modified Huanglian Wendan decoction combined with Yasmin,and the control group treated with Yasmin alone,with 30 patients in each group for 3 consecutive menstrual cycles.The TCM syndrome score,BMI,WHR,ovarian volume,sex hormone level,and glucose and lipid metabolism indexes of the two groups before and after treatment were compared and analyzed,and the curative effects of the two groups were observed.The patients were followed up to 3 months after drug withdrawal,and the menstruation was observed after drug withdrawal.Results:(1)There was no significant difference in all indexes between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which could be compared with each other.(2)The improvement effect of BMI in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the improvement of WHR between the two groups(P<0.05).(3)The treatment group can improve the TCM syndrome performance of patients in an all-round way,and its effect is obviously better than that of the control group(P<0.01).(4)After treatment,LH,TC,TG,LDL and FBG in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the improvement of LH/FSH,T,FINS and HDL between the two groups(P>0.05).(5)The improvement effect of ovarian volume in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05).(6)The total clinical effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P < 0.01),and the menstrual cycle returned to normal 3 months after drug withdrawal(21-35 days),the treatment group accounted for about 32%,and the control group accounted for about 10%,there were significant differences between groups(P<0.01).Conclusion:Modified Huanglian Wendan decoction combined with Yasmin is effective in the treatment of phlegm-damp obese PCOS,suggesting that the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of PCOS is an effective method to improve the curative effect,which is worth further popularizing in clinical work.
