Influences Of Social Capital On The Health Of The Elderly In Rural Areas

In order to actively respond to aging,under the leadership of the Party,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council have issued a series of policies and plans.It can be seen from various policies that the health of the elderly and the social capital of the elderly are important elements in the positive aging of our country.Which shows that the two have important and far-reaching significance for solving the aging of the population.This article takes the social capital status and health status of the rural elderly as the research content,and sorts out the existing literature through research.In-depth analysis of the correlation between social capital and the health status of the rural elderly,and summarize the results.Providing a realistic basis for the improvement of policies.Based on the research on social capital at home and abroad,the research mostly uses large sample data for research.There are often differences in the economic level,living environment and other factors of the target population,these differences will bias the research results.The social capital survey for specific groups of people can relatively reduce the impact of external factors such as economic level and living environment.The research on social capital and health status among the rural elderly in Liaoyuan City is representative of our country’s economically underdeveloped areas and has far-reaching practical significance.This article uses the 2019 survey data of "Social Capital and Aging Life-quality Survey(SCALS)" conducted by the Institute of Population of Northeast Asia Studies College,Jilin University and Renmin University of China to analyze the health status of rural elderly in Liaoyuan City.The two dimensions of psychology are used to measure health,using spss19.0 software,using binary logistic regression,multiple linear regression to analyze social trust,cognitive social capital,structural social capital and other social capital characteristics of Liaoyuan City Tthrough the results we can provide suggestions and theoretical basis for policies.This research found that social capital has an impact on the physical health and mental health of rural elderly in Liaoyuan City,and social capital factors such as social trust,cognitive social capital,and structural social capital have a positive impact on it.Impact,these increases in social capital can play a significant role in promoting the health status of the elderly in rural areas in Liaoyuan City.This article believes that by promoting the improvement of the social capital of rural elderly people to promote the development of their health conditions,we should start from multiple perspectives.This article mainly starts from the government level and puts forward suggestions to promote the social capital of rural elderly people and protect the health of rural elderly people.Through this research,some new ideas are provided for the improvement of the health status of the rural elderly.
