| With the arrival of the "silver wave",the well-being,access and quality of life of middle-aged and old people have attracted much attention.The outline of the 2016"Healthy China 2030" plan mentions that the future of the country should promote healthy aging and integrate health into all policies.《The 2017 Opinion on the Development and Implementation of Care Services for older Persons》mentions that improving the access and well-being of older persons is an important step to promote the improvement of people’s livelihood,promote social harmony and actively respond to the ageing of the population.The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China states,We should strengthen the construction of the social security system,fully implement the plan for universal coverage,improve the unified medical insurance system for urban and rural residents and the insurance system for major diseases,so that people’s sense of access,well-being and more sustainable." Social medical insurance is an important part of social security system,which plays an important role in meeting the medical needs of the elderly and realizing healthy aging.This study uses the method of secondary analysis,the main data are derived from the 2017 implementation of the National Comprehensive Social Survey Data(CGSS),in the control of individual socio-demographic characteristic variables,the use of Logistic model empirically verified the impact of basic medical insurance on the subjective well-being of China’s elderly and the mechanism of action.It is found that basic medical insurance has an important influence on the subjective well-being of the elderly,and health status is an important explanatory variable of the role of medical insurance in the subjective well-being of the elderly.The overall healthstatus of older persons surveyed in2017 was at a moderate-high level.At the same time,the study found that health status is positively related to the social and economic status of the elderly,and basic medical insurance has a more significant effect on the lower social and economic status groups.Based on empirical results,in order to improve the health of the elderly,promote the improvement of the well-being of the elderly.This study puts forward several suggestions:to increase the spread of health knowledge,the introduction of regular and free medical check-ups for the elderly,improve their physical and health levels.Increase the proportion of medical insurance reimbursement for low-and middle-income elderly groups and reduce the pressure on medical expenses of the elderly.With the help of digital platforms such as the Internet and big data,optimize the medical insurance reimbursement process,increase the supply of medical public goods in areas where medical resources are scarce,balance the allocation of urban and rural medical and health resources,and improve the timely access rate of low-income sick and elderly people to medical care. |
