Since the reform and opening up for more than 40 years,with the continuous development of industrialization,the level of urbanization in our country has also been continuously improved.More and more ethnic minority people have begun to move geographically.Development and urban construction have made tremendous contributions.However,for a long time,there have been a lot of social exclusion and integration problems such as not being accepted by society,limited mobility,and unfair access to public services after floating into the cities,which seriously restricts and threatens the level of urbanization and Social harmony and stability.Therefore,in recent years,governments at all levels in our country have paid more and more attention to the issue of urban life security of ethnic minorities in order to solve their worries about urban life and strive to improve their urban integration.As an important insurance in China’s social security system,medical insurance can effectively reduce people’s health risks.It is related to whether ethnic minorities can realize their basic health rights and interests,and is an important system guarantee to help them resist urban risks.This article uses the data of the six national censuses,2013-2017 national floating population health and family planning dynamic monitoring survey data,combined with relevant theoretical foundations,to summarize the current status and characteristics of China ’s ethnic groups ’floating population,and the medical insurance participation of ethnic minority floating population,And combined with previous research results,innovated a set of indicators of urban integration evaluation system in three dimensions of social and political participation,psychological and cultural identity,and willingness to settle down to analyze the urban integration of ethnic minority floating population.Using the OLS model,empirical research and analysis of the impact of medical insurance system,individual characteristics,employment and economic income,native family status,mobile history,current living environment,and individual health status on the urban integration of ethnic minority floating population.The thesis answers the following questions theoretically and empirically: What is the status of medical insurance coverage and urban integration for ethnic minority floating population? What are the specific impacts of access to medical insurance system services on the integration of ethnic minority floating population cities? Based on the above research,the following conclusions are drawn: First,the shortcomings of the medical insurance system are still outstanding,and the rights of ethnic minorities to access social public services have not been effectively guaranteed.Second,the overall level of urban integration of ethnic minority floating population is relatively low.Third,relative to the Han’s floating population,the medical insurance system has a significant positive impact on the urban integration of ethnic minority floating population,and the medical insurance system can help it better integrate into the city.
