Research On Cost Calculation Of Hospital Pharmaceutical Service Under The Background Of The Separated Management Between Medicine And Pharmacy

Hospital pharmacy service is a series of activities carried out by the hospital to provide patients with medicines and related consulting services.After the separate reform of medicine,the hospital’s channel to obtain profits from medicines has been cut off.The hospital’s pharmaceutical service costs must be compensated through other forms.Therefore,it is necessary to put forward ideas and calculation methods for the cost of pharmacy services to provide quantitative decision-making basis for government departments to establish scientific and reasonable public hospital compensation mechanisms,reflect the value of pharmacist services,and ensure the safety of patients’ medication.In response to the country’s implementation of the reform of separate medicine,this paper proposes a method for measuring the cost of pharmacy services,and selects case hospitals for specific research.First of all,the definition of pharmacy service and the measurement of pharmacy service cost are clarified.With the assistance of pharmacy experts and financial experts,by integrating the direct costs of hospital pharmacy services and allocating indirect costs,a specific method for measuring the cost of pharmacy services is proposed based on the content of the two major processes of basic pharmacy services and advanced pharmacy services.This article selects one of the tertiary A-level hospital in Beijing as a case study object.After field study and expert consultations,the hospital’s basic pharmacy and advanced pharmacy services’ pharmacy costs in 2018 are calculated firstly.After analyzing the cost structure,it is concluded that the labor cost accounts for the highest proportion.The unit pharmacy service cost is directly proportional to the total pharmacy service cost,and inversely proportional to factors such as the number of annual visits and the number of prescriptions.Secondly,the cost of the pharmacy service of the medical order entry of the unit was calculated to be 4.43 yuan per piece,the cost of prescription pharmacy service for the outpatient and emergency pharmacy unit is 11.06 yuan per piece,and the cost of the pharmacy service for the outpatient and emergency unit is 10.91 yuan per person.The cost of pharmacy service per bed per day is 35.83 yuan,which provides a reference for the cost compensation level of pharmacy service.At the end of the full text,specific suggestions for optimizing the cost management of hospital pharmacy services are provided,which mainly include four aspects: reasonable control and saving of labor costs,reducing the cost of medicine circulation,establishing and improving management systems to strengthen cost control,and reasonable control of other internal expenses of the hospital.
