In recent years,the research and development of "efficient,stable,safe and controllable" Chinese herbal feed additives has become a hot spot.Chelerythrine is an active ingredient of Chelerytheraceae,which has many pharmacological values,such as sedation,pain relief,cough relief,asthma relief,anti-inflammation,anti-bacterial,anti-virus,anti-cancer and so on.However,there are few reports on the application of Chelerythrine as feed additive in poultry production performance.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the effects of Chelerythrine on broiler and broiler breeder performance in late laying stage.The impact is significant.In this experiment,three animal experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of Chinese Chestnut Premixtures on the safety of target chickens,growth performance and slaughter performance of broilers,as well as on serum antioxidant,liver function,antibody level and production performance of broilers in late laying stage.In order to develop it into a new natural feed additive and lay a theoretical foundation for its practical production.This study is divided into the following experiments: Biosafety evaluation of Chinese cabbage premix on Broilers : A total of 1200 one-day-old AA broilers with similar initial body weight and heredity were randomly divided into four groups,300 broilers in each group,with 6 replicates in each group and 50 chickens in each replicate.The 1,3 and 5 times dosage groups of Chelidonium majus premix were added into the basic diet according to 0.05 g/kg,0.15 g/kg and 0.25 g/kg,respectively.The blank group was fed with the basic diet.The experiment lasted for 50 days from 1 day to 50 days.On the 25 th and 50 th days of the experiment,the blood samples were collected under the wing to determine the hematological and serum biochemical indexes.The organs such as heart,liver,spleen,lung,kidney,thymus and bursa of Fabricius were separated to observe the general anatomical structure and pathological section structure.The results showed that the premix of Chinese cabbage could not cause the disease and death of broiler chickens within 5 times of the recommended clinical dosage,and had no adverse effects on the general signs,hematological indexes,blood biochemical indexes and main organs of broiler chickens.It indicated that Chinese cabbage premix had high safety in the clinical use of target animal chickens.Effects of Premixtures of Chelidonium majus on Growth Performance of Broilers:2100 healthy,disease-free,1-day-oldAA broilers with similar initial weight and heredity were randomly divided into 7 groups,300 broilers in each group,6 replicates in each group and 50 chickens in each replicate.Premixtures of Chelidonium majus L.in groups 1,2,3,4 and 5 were added to the basic diet according to 0.10 g/kg,0.075 g/kg,0.05 g/kg,0.025 g/kg and 0.0125 g/kg,respectively.The control group was added to the basic diet according to 0.03 g/kg and the blank control group was fed with the basic diet.The experiment lasted 42 days from 1 day to 42 days.The feed intake of each group was monitored,and the weight of chickens was weighed every 21 days.The weight of pectoral muscle,abdominal muscle and abdominal fat was dissected and the average feed intake,daily gain,feed conversion rate and slaughter rate were calculated.The results showed that the premix of Chinese Chestnut could promote the growth and development of AA broilers,reduce feed conversion and mortality.Premixtures of Chelidonium majus L.can also increase slaughter rate,pectoral muscle rate and leg muscle rate of AA broilers,and reduce abdominal fat rate.Medium dosage of Chelidonium majus premix had the best effect on the growth and development of AA broilers in brooding stage.Effect of Premixtures of Chelidonium majus on Blood Biochemical Indexes of Broiler Breeders in Late Laying Period:In this experiment,1500 healthy,disease-free 180-day-old laying hens with similar initial weight and heredity were randomly divided into five groups with 300 hens in each group,6 replicates in each group and 50 hens in each replicate.Premixtures of Chelidonium majus L.were added to the basal diet at doses of 0.05 g/kg,0.15g/kg and 0.25 g/kg in groups 1,3 and 5 times respectively;Premixtures of Chelidonium majus L.were added to the basal diet at doses of 0.03 g/kg in the positive drug group;basal diets were fed to the blank control group.The experiment lasted 56 days from 180 d to 236 d.On the 7th and 56 th days of feeding,the laying hens were collected blood under wings,and the serum was separated and stored at-20 C.The serum TC,TG,AST,ALT,BUN,T-AOC,SOD,MDA content,ND,H9 and H5-7 antibody titers were determined.The results showed that the premix of Chelidonium majus could improve the antioxidant ability of Broilers by improving the ability of scavenging oxygen free radicals at the later laying stage.At the same time,the premix of Chelidonium majus could reduce the levels of AST,ALT,TG,TC and BUN in the serum of laying hens,reduce the load of liver operation,reduce lipid deposition and regulate protein metabolism,thereby improving the liver and kidney functions.Effect of PremixingAgent of Chinese Cherry on Egg-laying Performance of Broiler Breeding Chickens at Late Laying Stage:The grouping and design of animal experiment are the same as 3.The health status of quails was observed daily,and the number of deaths,laying eggs,egg weight,broken eggs and soft shell eggs were recorded accurately.At the end of the experiment,10 eggs were randomly selected for each replicate to determine the hatchability,fertilization rate,hatchability rate,healthy chick rate,dead embryo rate and weak chick rate.Egg quality,average egg weight,egg shape index,shell thickness,shell color,shell strength,protein height,yolk color,yolk weight and Harrington unit were measured.The results showed that the premix of Chinese cabbage could improve the laying performance,hatchability and egg quality of broiler breeder chickens in late laying stage through its anti-bacterial,anti-inflammatory,liver and kidney protective effects.In this study,the safety of Chelerythrine to broilers was evaluated by the safety evaluation test of Chelerythrine,and it was found that Chelerythrine was safe to target animal chickens.By investigating the growth performance and slaughter performance of broilers,it was found that chelidonine could promote the growth and development of AA broilers,reduce feed conversion rate,reduce the mortality rate and increase the slaughter performance of broilers.By investigating the blood and liver antioxidant index and blood antibody level of broiler breeders in late laying period,we found that chelerythrine could maintain the balance of oxidation and antioxidant system,improve the liver and kidney function of broiler breeders in late laying period.The serum biochemistry,egg laying performance,hatchability and egg quality of broiler breeder chickens at late laying stage were investigated.It was found that chelidonine preventively improved the production performance and quality of laying hens at late laying stage through its pharmacological effects of bacteriostasis,anti-inflammatory,liver protection and kidney protection.Chelerythrine can be safely used for Feeding Broilers and layers,and can improve the growth performance,anti-stress ability and production performance of chickens to a certain extent.The recommended dosage is 0.25 g/kg of Chinese Chelerythrine premix in the basic diet.
