Residents’ Perception Of Urban Forest Environment Restoration In Changsha City

The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that man and nature are a community of life,and mankind must respect,conform to,and protect nature.The modernization we want to build is a modernization in which man and nature coexist harmoniously,and we must provide more high-quality ecological products to meet the people’s growing demand for a beautiful ecological environment.As an important part of the urban ecosystem,the urban forest is an important place for urban residents to contact the natural environment and release their physical and mental stress in their daily lives.However,there are more researches on the ecological service functions of urban forests and their economic value evaluation,but less attention has been paid to measuring the benefits of urban forest environmental restoration.Therefore,from the perspective of the main body of residents,this research conducts a research on the residents’ perception of the restoration of the urban forest environment in Changsha.Based on domestic and foreign urban forest research and environmental restoration perceptions,this paper uses literature research methods,questionnaire survey methods,quantitative analysis and other research methods,taking residents of the five urban districts of Changsha City as the survey objects,and through field investigations and online investigations.Collect residents’ perception data on the restoration of the urban forest environment in a combined way.Using SPSS software to perform reliability and validity analysis,descriptive statistical analysis,non-parametric test method analysis and multiple linear regression analysis on the obtained data,the main results are as follows:(1)In terms of environmental preference,the residents’ favorite features of urban forest environment are naturalness,followed by species diversity,spatiality,sociality,tranquility,shelter,observability,and culture.(2)In terms of environmental satisfaction,residents’ satisfaction with urban forest environment is relatively high,but their satisfaction with tranquility and visibility is relatively low.(3)In terms of environmental resilience perception,residents have a strong overall perception of urban forest environmental resilience,and the perceptual intensity is ranked from strong to weak:perception of environmental charm(3.96)>perception of environmental distance(3.93)>environmental compatibility Knowledge(3.90)>Environmental malleability perception(3.88).(4)Urban forest environmental preference and environmental restoration perception are significantly positively correlated,and a multiple linear regression prediction model of environmental restoration perception and environmental preference is constructed:environmental restoration perception=0.3 X natural preference+0.273 × species diversity+0.13 × perspective preference+0.111 ×cultural preference.(5)Urban forest environmental satisfaction and environmental restoration perception are significantly correlated.The multiple linear regression prediction model of urban forest environmental satisfaction and environmental restoration perception is:environmental restoration perception=0.244 × species diversity satisfaction+0.126 × naturalness satisfaction+0.121 × tranquility satisfaction+0.11 × cultural satisfaction+0.097 × social satisfaction.
