To improve the N utilization rate of crop production is an important issue to be solved in agricultural production in China.In order to make cleare the application effect and application technology of N-lif,a new nitrogen fertilizer synergist,on cotton,this study took upland cotton varity Zhongmiansuo 49 as the material,and set different mixing rates of N fertilizer and N-life.Effects of cotton growth and development,yield,fiber quality and N utilization rate,and soil enzyme activity,investigate the best fertilization methods to improve cotton yield and fiber quality,N utilization rate,and soil enzyme activity.The main results obtained are as follows:(1)Under the condition that the total nitrogen is reduced by 10%and N-life is added,the plant height,leaf SPAD value,and chlorophyll content of cotton was increased in the middle and late growth period,cotton photosynthetic performance in the middle and late growth period was improved,dry matter accumulation in cotton plants was increased,SOD and POD activities of cotton leaves was increased,cotton yield and cotton fiber quality was improved.(2)Under the condition that the total nitrogen is reduced by 10%and N-life is added,nitrogen content in various organs during cotton maturity can be increased,nitrogen accumulation in cotton plants was increased,and nitrogen use was improved.(3)Under the experimental conditions,the most beneficial fertilization program for cotton is nitrogen application level of 243 kg/hm~2,and the ratio of nitrogen and N-life is 9:1;(4)The results of the potted plant test show that using N-life can significantly increase the nitrogen content in the soil,can significantly enhance the activity of pyrethroids,nitric acid reductase and nitric acid reductase in the soil,and the effect of application in clay is better than powder soil.
