Effect Of Boyun Powder And Autologous Serum On Corneal Ulcer In Dogs

Eyeball alkali burn is a common ophthalmic emergency in small animal clinic,but at present clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of corneal ulcer is relatively lacking.Therefore,it is particularly important to find a simple,fast and effective treatment for corneal ulcer in small animals.In this paper,we compare the effect of different adjuvant treatment after conjunctival flap covering on corneal ulcer by combining different methods of traditional Chinese and Western medicine.We hope to provide experience for the research and development of veterinary medicine in pet ophthalmology and find an effective method for the treatment of corneal ulcer.In this experiment,a corneal ulcer model was established in 9 poodles by alkali burn method,and the model was successfully established by using fluorescent dye staining.After modeling,the canine deep corneal ulcer conjunctival flap was covered.After the operation,no corneal perforation was observed,and there was no insufficient coverage of the conjunctival flap,indicating that the conjunctival flap was successfully covered.The patients were randomly divided into 3 groups,3 experimental dogs in each group,6 eyes in the test,respectively,group A: conjunctival flap occlusion group;group B: conjunctival flap occlusion combined with autologous serum treatment group;group C: conjunctival flap Occlusion combined with autologous serum and dialectril treatment group.Group A cleaned the eyeball with normal saline every day without drug-assisted treatment;Group B,after cleaning the eyeball with normal saline every day,used autologous serum for adjuvant treatment;Group C,after using normal saline to clean the eyeball every day,using autologous serum and dialect Perform adjuvant therapy.Within 35 days of the experiment,the whole body health status of the three groups of experimental dogs such as body temperature,respiration,heartbeat,blood pressure and other basic physiological indicators were continuously observed every day;the ophthalmic examination was performed on the experimental dogs every 7 days,and the ophthalmic examinations were mainly visual examinations.Intraocular pressure measurement and tear measurement,wherein the visual acuity test includes a maze method and a parabolic method;changes in the eyeball are observed every 7 days,such as whether the blood vessels of the cornea are hyperplasia,light transmission,color change,e tc.,and corneal turbidity is performed according to the corneal turbidity scoring standard.Scoring;the levels of MMP-1,MMP-2,MMP-9,IL-1,and IL-8 were measured in the canine water of the experimental dogs every 7 days,and blood leukocytes were detected.Experiment result shows: Compared with group A and group B,group C significantly increased intraocular pressure level after 14 days of treatment(P<0.05),and returned to normal level at 28 days;Compared with group A,group C significantly increased tear secretion after 14 days of treatment(P<0.05);In the visual acuity of parabolic method and maze method,compared with group A and group B,group C showed higher score after 14 days of treatment,and returned to normal level at 28 days,the difference was significant(P<0.05);Compared with group A and group B,corneal opacity score was significantly lower in group C(P<0.05),corneal recovery was faster;Compared with group A and group B,group C significantly reduced the number of white blood cells in the blood and significantly decreased the contents of MMP-1,MMP-2,MMP-9,IL-1 and IL-8 in canine aqueous humor(P<0.05).The experimental results show that conjunctival flap occlusion combined with autologous serum and dialectril treatment can effectively restore normal intraocular pressure,reverse the trend of dry eye syndrome,inhibit corneal inflammation,improve corneal state,and further reduce the activation of matrix metalloproteinase.It can promote the stabilization of extracellular collagen fibers in corneal stromal cells,promote the repair of corneal ulcers,and inhibit the increase of corneal ulcers.At the same time,it can effectively improve the visual acuity of the dog,contribute to the permeabilization of the conjunctival flap,and accelerate the repair of corneal ulcer.Puyun powder combined with autologous serum has a significant auxiliary effect on corneal ulcer.The combination of Chinese and Western medicine has a significant and significant effect on corneal ulcer in dogs.It provides experience for the development of veterinary medicine in pet ophthalmology.It is a significant and convenient method for the treatment of corneal ulcer in dogs.
