According to the urgent needs of slope ecological restoration in the ecologically sensitive areas along Chengdu Lanzhou Railway(Sichuan section),the right side of the line of d2k204 + 409.4-d2k204 + 457.0 in zhenjiangguan Town,arid valley climate area,and the right side of the line of d1k256 + 918.438-d1k257 + 257.562 in dongbeigou 1double track bridge near Chuanzhusi station,subalpine climate area are studied in this paper.In this study area,traditional methods such as spray seeding and grass planting were used for slope ecological restoration,but there was no effect.In this paper,the field investigation along the railway,the actual construction of the experimental plots and the statistical analysis of plant diversity are used,and the seed bank is used as the basic restoration method for the natural slope area damaged by man-made engineering in the ecologically sensitive area.The response analysis of plant diversity in the initial stage of soil seed bank germination is carried out by adding different soil improvement methods such as organic fertilizer,water retaining agent and straw curtain.The optimal scheme for slope restoration in ecologically sensitive areas is found.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Based on the field investigation of plants along the Chengdu Lanzhou railway,especially in the dry valley area and sub alpine area,and the summary of relevant data,the main vegetation types in the area are sorted out.It is found that these areas are characterized by sparse natural vegetation and weak regeneration and regeneration ability of plants.In addition,the environmental factors such as precipitation characteristics,altitude and temperature characteristics bring great challenges to the vegetation protection of railway slope.Conventional slope greening measures are difficult to meet the comprehensive requirements of the line for soil and water conservation,ecological restoration and landscape beautification,prone to vegetation degradation,slope exposure and increased environmental risk.(2)In the experiment area of arid river valley,four kinds of contrast experiment modes were adopted in the experiment of seed bank + soil improvement: water +fertilizer + straw curtain;water + straw curtain;fertilizer + straw curtain;water +fertilizer.Through the analysis of the important value and diversity of the plant community after the experiment,it is found that the most economical and effective method is to restore the slope vegetation in the soil seed bank after the soil improvement with water + straw curtain.The application of fertilizer does not play a very important role in the early stage of plant growth.(3)In the process of using plant seed bank for slope restoration,six comparative test modes were adopted for subalpine experimental slope area: fertilizer + straw curtain;water + straw curtain;fertilizer;water;water + fertilizer + straw curtain;water +fertilizer.Water + fertilizer + straw curtain is the most effective method for slope vegetation restoration.(4)Straw shade is a useful method in the experiment of slope vegetation restoration in ecologically sensitive area by using soil seed bank.
