The E Business Unit of F Company produces the server products with high performance and reliability,which has large demand and fast growth in the big data era.Nowadays,high-density and high integration become the challenges that we have to face in the SMT process.Through the analysis and application with lean six sigma(LSS)theory and production practice,this thesis mainly focus on the below areas: the application of lean production in SMT process,the solution of Six Sigma in value flow,and the further use of Six Sigma Method based on the previous DOE experiment results.The main contents are as follows:In the first two chapters,some issues that need in-depth discussions are provided,which are based on the current LSS research both at home and abroad.Then there is a brief introduction for LSS theory,which includes the summary of the seven principles of LSS,the necessity of the integration through the comparison of lean production and six sigma theories.And last there is an introduction for the current SMT process in F,which includes the profile for the company,the production and the PCBA,and especially put an eye on the current study of the three key processes in SMT field.In the next three chapters,DMAIC model is applied to define improvement project,build the core team,and make improvement plan.Lean method is apllied to eliminate the waste of redundant actions,and the Six Sigma method is applied to improve the yield rate effectively with the quality tools,such as pareto,histogram,trend chart,fish bone map and cause & effect matrix ect.,and with the analysis method such as SIPOC process analysis,SPC analysis,FMEA analysis,control chart and so on,and also with DOE by Minitab software.In the sixth chapter,the improvement effect shows that the production efficiency has been increased by about 16%,the bad PPM has been reduced by about 86% which lead to the economic benefit of 3 million 740 thousand yuan.The most important thing is not only to reduce the quality risk but also to win the customer's satisfaction,recognition and trust.
