Research On The Development Of Resource-based Industry Clusters

As a strategic resource,rare earth has always been attached great importance to many countries around the world.Faced with the dual constraints of resources and the environment in the future,how to take full advantage of Baotou Rare Earth resources,to change resource advantages into economic and regional advantages more effectively,to extend the industrial chain of the Baotou Rare Earth Resources Development,to improve the Baotou Rare Earth Industry intensification and the overall efficiency of resource utilization and to carry out resource-based industries cluster upgrading and transformation are very impotent.In addition,the analysis of the experience of Baotou Rare Earth Industry Cluster evolution will no doubt provide a valuable experience.Based on the theory of evolution mechanism of industrial clusters,this paper analyzes the evolution of motivation and path of the resource-based industry clusters,and factors which can promote resource industry cluster played upgraded.Combining theoretical research and empirical studies research,we select a case of the Baotou Rare Earth Industry Cluster to do empirical analysis.The main content of this paper is as follows:First,introduce the concept and characteristics of industry cluster,its formation mechanism,competitiveness of industrial clusters and study the risk of Industrial Clusters;Second,specially introduce the concept and characteristics of Resource-based Industry Clusters,the main factors which impact on formation and development of Resource-based Industry Clusters and analyze the structure risk of Resource-based Industry Cluster;Third,based on the diamond model study the evolutionary growth of the Baotou Rare Earth Industry Cluster;Last,thinking development policy is proposed to promote the optimization and upgrading of the Baotou Rare Earth Industry Cluster.
