With the rapid development of media technology, the fan groups, relying on new media, come together in a broad and rapid way, forming a strong fan community and showing strong cultural shaping power and media text productivity. However, its cluster behavior is also prone to be carried to extremes by inter-group emotions, and even fall into polarization. The risk impact on the society is increasingly concerned by the academia and the industry.According to previous studies, the formation of network group polarization doesn't happen overnight,so it is reasonable to infer that multiple factors affect the psychological polarization of fan groups.Among them, the penetration and intervention of new media have an important impact on fans' media behavior and psychological trend.Although from the perspective of business or organization management, the polarization of the youth fan group may have certain value or significance, but at present it mainly brings trouble to the whole fan culture and communication space, and even causes social risks. In recent years, incidents of polarized behavior among fans caused by improper behaviors of idol stars tend to occur frequently. The polarization behavior of fan groups has changed from simply seeking profits for idols to a deeper psychological polarization, and the polarization behavior in most events tends to be negative, even from virtual to real.Under the influence of the spread of new media in circles, the psychological polarization boosted by inter-group emotions can easily give rise to extreme behaviors. If this kind of alienation of cluster psychology which tends to be out of control is not effectively channeled in time, its consequences will be unimaginable. In addition, under the mapping and unconscious guidance of new media, the phenomenon of psychological polarization of fan groups intensifies the negative side of fan groups in the public impression, which to a certain extent increases the friction of inter-group emotions, and even in another way strengthens the psychological polarization of fan groups, forming a vicious circle.Based on the analysis of relevant fan group polarization cases(such as the PGOne fan event),this paper analyzes the performance of the phenomenon of young fan group psychological polarization in new media, conducts a survey on the young group through questionnaires and interviews, and conducts a research on the fan group and the association of new media from the perspective of media intervention. The research believes that the current youth fan group has undergone some changes in psychology and behavior under the convenient conditions of new media technology. In addition to the influence of multiple factors such as individual fans, society and culture, new media has become the main inducing factor for the outburst of inter-group emotions, and even intensified the degree of psychological polarization of the fan group.Due to the negative effect of the use of new media, the bias of new media technology and the absence of regulatory mechanism, the current intervention means of new media are limited and tend to capitalization, which have little alleviating effect on the phenomenon of psychological polarization of fan groups. It is generally believed that young people play a role in promoting the psychological polarization of fan groups. Therefore, timely improvement and adjustment of the intervention path of new media, combined with the intervention of a third party, the cultivation of opinion leaders and the enhancement of the identity and social identity of the fan group, will help us grasp the direction in the context of the rapidly changing new media information dissemination, and effectively channel the psychological polarization of the young fan group.
