Reading is not only the source of knowledge and information,but also an important way of learning.Reading ability is related to a person's future learning level and the basic ability to better engage in various work in the future.Comprehension is the purpose of reading.Comprehensive ability is also an important reading skill and one of the five important reading skills.As the first important written reading materials for children,picture books describe the process of one or more things in a way of both pictures and texts,and convey the content that the author wants to express to children.They provide children with the opportunity to contact with picture and text information,exercise children's reading comprehension ability and language expression ability,and convey it to children's authors in a relaxed and pleasant form The profound thoughts and principles should be expressed to provide a carrier for the early reading activities of children.In this study,48 senior grade children in H kindergarten were selected by PPVT-R and divided into two groups: autonomous reading group and listening reading group.According to the age characteristics and life experience of children,the picture book?mother's red sofa?was selected as the research material.Through the methods of test and observation,we can understand the children's understanding of explicit and implicit information of picture book story after autonomous reading and listening reading,base on this,making a further comparative analysis of children's understanding differences under the two different ways of autonomous reading and listening reading,the following conclusions are drawn:Research findings:(1)In the form of independent reading,the understanding of implicit information is better than that of explicit information;the understanding of turning events in explicit information is the best,and the understanding of story background is the worst;the understanding of characters' emotions in implicit information is the best,and the causal inference solution is the worst.(2)In the form of picture book listening reading,the understanding of explicit information is better than that of implicit information;in explicit information,the understanding of story ending is the best,and the understanding of character behavior is the worst;in implicit information,the understanding of causal inference is the best,and the understanding of plot prediction is the worst.(3)The results show that there are significant differences in the understanding of the characters,story background,character behavior and story ending in the explicit information of picture books between the independent reading and listening reading of children in the big class;there are significant differences in the understanding of causal inference and character dialogue in the implicit information,and the listening comprehension of children in the big class is better than reading comprehension.In view of the understanding of children in senior grade of kindergarten,it is suggested that educators should take advantage of different reading methods and make good use of various forms to complement each other;often read with children to guide children to understand picture book content based on experience;respect the diversity of children's understanding angle and approach the picture world in children's eyes.
