Reading is the foundation of learning.Reading ability is mainly academic achievement.Therefore this study, vulnerable young children for the study.Study their reading comprehension case.Trying to find an effective instructional strategies in reading comprehension, reading to help them solve problems and improve their reading comprehension.In this study from the story comprehension and visual understanding of the two dimensions,First examine their reading comprehension and Eye Movements, and then summarize the children’ s characteristics while reading picture books of the use of interviews and eye movement research method.Develop reading instructional strategies. Finally using experimental study to investigate the effectiveness of the situation.The result showed that:(a)Vulnerable families’ s young children overall reading comprehension for picture book is poor.Show that young children’ s story structure and story comprehension scores are relatively low.(b)Vulnerable families’ young children understand obvious problems better than implicit problems. manifested as the protagonist of the story and the story places understand better,and for the theme of the story and the story plot,children understand worst.(c)Vulnerable families’ young children have poor reading habits.Show that when reading picture books,the total fixation time of each page less than 30% of the specified time.(d)The children concentrated in the diagram on page hosted in information-rich region.The number of fixations and fixation time drawing area to be significantly larger than the text area.(e)Selecting the appropriate picture books.guiding the children concerned the pictures and text; designing problems based on elements of story structure and story content;targeted to improve early children’ s reading comprehension;using a variety of ways to read. All these reading instruction strategies for vulnerable families’ children to read is helpful.
