Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Carotid Atherosclerosis Of Phlegm And Blood Stasis With The Method Of Benefiting Temperature And Yang To Dispel Phlegm And Blood Stasis

Objective:Through the study of clinical treatment effect of benefiting Qi and Warming Yang and reducing phlegm and eliminating stasis in Phlegm-stasis syndrome with carotid Atherosclerosis(AS),explore the mechanism of AS and the clinical efficacy and mechanism of TCM treatment.It provides effective evidence for the prevention and treatment of AS in Chinese medicine,and provides clinical bases for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.Methods: This study collected 94 patients with AS who met the criteria for inclusion in this study.They were divided into a control group and a treatment group using a random number table.The control group was given atorvastatin calcium tablets;the treatment group was treated with atorvastatin calcium tablets combined with Danlou tablets.After 12 weeks,the carotid Doppler ultrasound results,blood lipid results and TCM syndrome scores were compared between the two groups.Safety indicators were also monitored and adverse events were recorded.Results: The TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).The improvement of symptoms and signs in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,The reduction of main plaque area of both groups before treatment was not significant(P>0.05),and the reduction of treatment group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The TC was lower than that before treatment(P<0.05),and the degree of TC was significantly lower in the treatment group(P<0.05).The TG of the two groups was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the degree of reduction between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).The HDL-C levels in both groups were higher than those before treatment(P<0.05).The increase of HDL-C in the treatment group was greater than that in the control group(P<0.05).LDL-C in both groups decreased compared with before treatment(P<0.05),and the decrease of LDL-C in the treatment group was greater than that in the control group(P<0.05).There were no adverse drug reactions in the two groups during the test,noadverse events occurred,and the safety indicators were monitored in the normal range.Conclusion: The results of this clinical study show that benefiting Qi and Warming Yang and reducing phlegm and eliminating stasis method can effectively Phlegm-stasis syndrome AS.The clinical effect of Danlou tablets combined with atorvastatin calcium tablets in the treatment of AS is significantly better than single application.Combined Dunlop Tablets can more effectively alleviate the symptoms and signs of AS patients,reduce plaque area,stabilize blood lipid levels,and thus play a role in the prevention and development of AS,further reducing the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.At the same time,it meets the drug safety standards.
