Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of Guizhi Xinjia Decoction on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(Taiyang disease--syndrome of ying qi and blood deficiency).Evaluate its effectiveness and safety.Preliminary explore its therapeutic mechanism.Provide a basis for the diagnosis and treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy based on syndrome differentiation of six channels theory. Methods: In a randomized controlled trial,60 patients who met the criteria were randomly sorted according to the Order of coming to the Outpatient, and were divided into observation group and control group of 30 cases. The observation group took Guizhi Xinjia Decoction, and the control group took Celebrex and Me Cobalamin tablets, the course of treatment was two weeks.Record the VAS scores and the Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome scores before and after treatment, evaluation of clinical effect after treatment. Results: Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in gender, age, course of disease,VAS score, and degree of disease between the two groups of patients, and they were comparable(P>0.05).In terms of improving the VAS score, the difference between the two groups before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the VAS score between the two groups(P>0.05).It shows that both groups of drugs can improve the pain of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, and the effect is equivalent. In terms of improving clinical symptoms, the difference in TCM syndrome scores between the two groups before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the difference in TCM syndrome scores between the two groups after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).It shows that both groups of drugs can improve clinical symptoms, and the effect of the observation group is better than that of the control group. After treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was 83.3%,and that of the control group was 76.7%.There was no statistically significant difference in clinical efficacy between the two groups(P>0.05).It shows that both groups of drugs can effectively treat the symptoms of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. After 3 months of treatment, the VAS scores and TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the observation group was better than the control group in terms of consolidated efficacyConclusion: Guizhi Xinjia Decoction can effectively improve the pain symptoms of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, and it is better than the control group in improving the symptoms andconsolidated efficacy of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, and no adverse events have been reported. This indicates that Guizhi Xinjia Decoction has a clear curative effect and high safety in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, which is worthy of further research and promotion. It is practical and feasible to use the syndrome differentiation of six channels theory to guide the clinical diagnosis and treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.
