A Randomized Controlled Clinical Study Of Qixian Tongluo Recipe In Treating Limb Hemiplegia After Ischemic Stroke (kidney Deficiency And Blood Stasis Syndrome)

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Qixian Tongluo Recipe in treating hemiplegia(kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome)after ischemic stroke,and to provide a highly effective and safe treatment for sequelae of stroke.Methods: Methods: A total of 70 patients with hemiplegia(kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome)outpatients with ischemic stroke were selected from January 2019 to January 2020 in the Department of Encephalology,Changsha Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.For each of the 35 patients,the two groups were given conventional basic treatments(nutritional nerve control,blood pressure control,blood sugar,lipid regulation,and anti-platelet aggregation,etc.).Treatment group: Qixiantongluofang intelligent granules were added on the basis of conventional treatment;Control group: Citicoline sodium tablets were given on the basis of conventional treatment,both of which lasted for 4 weeks.The Fugl-Meyer motor function score and the Barthel index score of the two groups were evaluated before and after treatment.The scores of TCM syndromes(ghostiness,forgetfulness,skewed tongue and anaesthesia,etc.)in the two groups were observed.Results: After treatment,both the Fugl-Meyer motor function score and the Barthel index score of the treatment group were significantly better than those of the control group(P<0.05),and the total effective rate was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P <0.05),and the total effective rate was significantly higher than that in the control group(P <0.05).Conclusion: Qixiantongluo Decoction has good clinical effect in treating hemiplegia(kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome)after ischemic stroke,which is worthy of further discussion.
