Objective: To systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Buguzhi tincture combined with phototherapy in the treatment of vitiligo, and to provide evidence-based medical evidence for the rational use of drugs in the clinic of vitiligo. Methods:Search Chinese and English databases until December 31,2018.A randomized controlled clinical trial of psoralen tincture combined with phototherapy in the treatment of vitiligo was included. The experimental group was treated with psoralen tincture combined with light irradiation, while the control group was treated with psoralen tincture or light irradiation.According to the Cochrane System Evaluator Manual 5.3,the quality of the literature included in the system evaluation was evaluated, and the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were analyzed by Revman 5.3 software. Results : A total of 12 articles involving 1105 patients were included in this study.Meta-analysis showed that:1.The total effective rate(Z = 3.10,P = 0.002,RR = 1.11,95% CI: 1.04-1.19)and marked efficiency(Z = 5.34,P < 0.00001,RR = 1.53,95% CI: 1.31-1.79)of Buguzhi tincture combined with phototherapy suggest that Buguzhi tincture combined with phototherapy has better curative effect.2.The total effective rate and marked efficiency of psoralen tincture combined with phototherapy were compared with psoralen tincture: the total effective rate of psoralen tincture combined with phototherapy and psoralen tincture alone(Z = 4.36,P < 0.0001,RR =1.13,95% CI: 1.07-1.19)and marked efficiency(Z = 5.69,P < 0.00001,RR = 1.35,95% CI:1.22-1.49),suggesting that psoralen tincture combined with phototherapy is more effective.3.Adverse reactions: Nine of the studies reported adverse reactions, including erythema, blisters, pruritus and burning sensation. All the above adverse reactions were gradually alleviated after the treatment of reducing dosage, stopping treatment or symptomaticmedication. No serious adverse reactions occurred. No mention was made of the withdrawal of subjects due to adverse reactions. Conclusion:Buguzhi tincture combined with phototherapy is safe and effective in the treatment of vitiligo. Its clinical efficacy is superior to that of single intervention. However, due to the limitations of the number of studies and the quality of literature, more large-sample,multi-center and high-quality randomized controlled trials are needed to further verify.
