Purpose:.To observe the clinical efficacy of eye acupuncture in the treatment of post-stroke shoulder and hand syndrome, and to explore the mechanism and effectiveness of eye acupuncture and rehabilitation manipulation in the treatment of post-stroke shoulder and hand syndrome,so as to provide a clinical basis for further trial and promotion.Material and method:The medical records of this study were from 48 patients with post-stroke shoulder syndrome(Phase I)in the Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion(Department of Neurology),Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2017 to October 1818.All cases were randomly divided into an eye needle group and a control group by random number table method, with 24 persons in each group. Both groups of patients were treated with basic and western medicine and rehabilitation. The eye acupuncture group was combined with eye acupuncture treatment. Each course of treatment was treated for 5 days and 2 days of rest,7 days as a course of treatment,a total of 2 courses of treatment, and followed up for two weeks. The two groups of patients were evaluated before and after treatment. The Fugl-Meyer evaluation scale was used to evaluate the joint function of the affected limb. The pain VAS visual analogue scale was used to assess the degree of pain in the affected area. The swelling score was used to assess the degree of swelling in the affected area. The Scale(ADL)is used to assess the patient's ability to perform activities in daily life, and statistical analysis of the treatment results using statistical software.Results:1.One patient in the study control group refused treatment for personal reasons and fell off halfway.2.Before treatment, the factors affecting gender, age and stroke type of the two groups were compared, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and the two groups were comparable.3.After 2 weeks of treatment, the activity index of daily living(BI index)and Fugl-Meyer joint activity in the eye-needle group were significantly higher than those before treatment(P<0.01),and the VAS score and swelling score of the pain level were significantly decreased.(P<0.01),after treatment, the eye group was better than the control group(P<0.05).The effective rate of the medical treatment in the eye acupuncture group was higher than that in the control group, and the effective eye group was significantly higher than the control group.4.There was no adverse reaction during needle acupuncture, and there was no such phenomenon as fainting, broken needle or stagnation.Conclusion:1.Eye and needle combined with rehabilitation treatment can alleviate the symptoms of pain, swelling and joint limitation in patients with post-strokeSHS(Phase I)and improve their living activities.2.Eye acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy and simple rehabilitation can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients with post-strokeSHS(Phase I).The former has better clinical efficacy than the latter.
