Objective: To compare the expression of Thymidine Kinase 1(TK1)in different clinical and pathological types of breast cancer and to explore its clinical significance. Methods: In this retrospective study,96 patients with breast cancer were enrolled. They were divided into different groups according to age, tumor size, pathological grades lymph node status,ER,PR and HER-2 status. The expressions of TK1 in different groups of breast cancer patients were compared. Results: The expression of TK1 in breast cancer patients with tumor diameter >2cm was significantly higher than that in patients with diameter≤2cm(P<0.05).The TK1 expression in triple-negative breast cancer patients was also significantly higher than that in non-triple negative breast cancer(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference about the expression of TK1 among the patients with different ages, lymph node status,ER,PR,and HER-2 status(P>0.05).Conclusions: The expression of TK1 is higher relatively in patients with tumor diameter >2.0 cm and triple-negative breast cancer, suggesting that TK1 is of great significance in the progression of breast cancer and is worthy of further clinical study. Objective: To study the expression of tumor abnormal protein(TAP)in different types of breast cancer patients and explore its clinical value. Methods: In this retrospective study,84 patients with breast cancer were enrolled. They were divided into groups according to difference of ages, metastatic lymph nodes,ER,PR and HER-2.We compared the expressions of Tumor abnormal protein in different groups of breast cancer patients. Results: The expression of TAP in patients with advanced age(≥ 65)was significantly higher than that of other patients(< 65).The TAP expression of patients with lymph node metastasis was also significantly higher than that of patients with no lymph node metastasis(P < 0.05).However,there was no significant difference about TAP among the patients with different expressions of ER,PR,and HER-2.Conclusions: The expressions of TAP in breast cancer patients with different ages and metastatic lymph nodes were significantly different. The detection of TAP has important clinical value.
