PurposeIn this study,we collected the general condition, medical history and clinical symptoms of patients with Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy(CIPN)in our hospital, and identified the type of TCM constitution, combined with the severity of clinical symptoms, the onset time of CIPN,and chemotherapy.Statistical analysis is carried out with dose, exposure time, risk factors, etc.,to achieve the following objectives:1.Describe the characteristics of TCM constitution distribution in patients with CIPN;2.Exploring the possible correlation between different TCM constitutions and the severity of CIPN symptoms;3.To analyze the correlation between the cumulative dose of chemotherapy drugs, chemotherapy cycle, tumor type and stage of CIPN patients and the severity of CIPN symptoms;4.To analyze the correlation between the different doses of chemotherapy and the cumulative dose and exposure time of chemotherapy drugs in patients with CIPN.Method1.All data were managed by Excel 2016,double-entry,data analysis by SPSS 20.0(Chicago,USA)software;2.The count data that conforms to the normal distribution is expressed as mean(Mean,M)± standard deviation(SD),and the measurement data is expressed as a percentage or frequency. The measurement data conforming to the normal distribution are compared by t test or one-way analysis of variance. The measurement data that do not conform to the normal distribution are compared by nonparametric test, and the comparison of count data is chi-square test;3.The above statistical methods all use the α=0.05 test level.Result1.A total of 50 patients with CIPN were included in the study. The distribution of TCM constitution types was as follows:10 cases(20%)of yang deficiency,10 cases(20%)of emollients, and 9 cases of yin deficiency(18 cases)%),Qi deficiency 7 cases(14%),phlegm dampness 4 cases(8%),damp heat quality 3 cases(6%),qi stagnation 3 cases(6%),special enamel 3 cases(6%)l,blood stasis 1(2%).The biased constitution is mainly yang deficiency, yin deficiency and qi deficiency.2.The cumulative dose and exposure time of chemotherapy drugs were statistically analyzed with QLQ-CIPN20 score. After T test and non-parametric test, the cumulative dose and exposure time of the drug were both p<0.05,indicating the peripheral nerves of the cumulative dose and exposure time of different drugs. The severity of the symptoms was statistically different. The gender, age, occupation,BMI index, tumor type and stage were statistically analyzed with QLQ-CIPN20 scores respectively. After T test and nonparametric analysis,p>0.05.Therefore,patients with different gender, age, occupation,BMI index, tumor type and stage had no statistical difference in QLQ-CIPN20 score.3.The cumulative dose and exposure time of chemotherapy drugs were compared with different TCM constitution types. After T test and non-parametric analysis, the cumulative dose of drugs was p<0.05,suggesting that there were clinical statistical differences between the two.The exposure time was p>0.05,suggesting that there is no correlation between the two.4.Statistical analysis of different TCM constitutions and QLQ-CIPN20 scores. After T test and nonparametric analysis,p>0.05 was obtained, suggesting that there is no correlation between the two.Conclusion1.The distribution of TCM patients with CIPN has certain specificity, mainly yang deficiency(20%),peace(20%),yin deficiency(18%),and qi deficiency(14%).Among the patients with peace and quality, the tendency of yang deficiency is the most.2.The CIPN20 score was statistically different between the different chemotherapy exposure times(calculated by chemotherapy cycle). The differences between the different drug doses were also statistically different. That is,the more chemotherapy cycles that are completed when symptoms of CIPN occur, the greater the drug dose, the higher the QLQ-CIPN20 score, and the heavier the CIPN symptoms. The CIPN20 score is not affected by patient gender, age, occupation,BMI index, tumor type, and stage.3.The more chemotherapy cycles that are completed when CIPN symptoms appear, the higher the drug dose, the higher the QLQ-CIPN20 score, the clinical significance is that the patient’s symptoms are heavier and the quality of life is lower.4.Patients with different TCM constitution types had different cumulative doses of CIPN drugs and different drug exposure times.Among them,CIPN patients with yang deficiency had the latest symptoms and the most severe symptoms. |
