Clinical Observation On The Effect Of Staged Acupuncture Treatment Of Bell's Palsy On The Dynamic And Static Scores Of Facial Nerve Function

1 ObjectiveTo observe the effect of staging acupuncture on bell’s palsy and conventional acupuncture on bell’s palsy,and explore whether there is an advantage of staging acupuncture on bell’s palsy.2 MethodsPatients with acute bell’s palsy who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the staging acupuncture treatment group and the routine acupuncture treatment group.(1)In the staging acupuncture treatment group,main acupoints:(from the injured side)"Yang bai","above cuanzhu 1 cun","above si zhu kong 1 cun","sibai","taiyang","dicang","dicang" up and down with 0.5 cun ",jiache","daying","qianzheng","quanliao","fengchi","yifeng",(two)"hegu" and(two),"taichong" were taken.Match point:the philtrum askew add" shuigou";Nasolabial sulcus shallow add "yingxiang" of the affected side;Eyes can not closed,add "jingming""shangming";Coporeity weakness add"qihai";Add "zusanli"in convalescent period.Acupuncture and moxibustion method:Acute phase(≥lday and ≤7day):shallow needle skin,don’t make manipulation.Subacute stage(>7day and≤21day):acupuncture to reach the superficial fascia layer.acupuncture"quanliao" vertically and others obliquely,equal reinforcemen and draining for these points.Convalescence(duration>21 days,less than or equal to 6 months):acupuncture to the middle muscle.Acupuncture"quanliao"vertically and others obliquely,,equal reinforcemen and draining for these points.(2)In the conventional acupuncture treatment group,main acupoints:(from the injured side)"cuanzhu","yangbai","sibai","quanliao","jiache","dicang",(two)"hegu" and(two)"kunlun"were taken.Match point:the philtrum askew add "shuigou";Nasolabial sulcus shallow add "yingxiang" of the affected side;Eyes can not closed,add "jingming" "shangming";Coporeity weakness add"qihai";Add "zusanli" in convalescent period.Acupuncture and moxibustion method:,acupuncture" quanliao" vertically and others obliquely,equal reinforcemen and draining for these points.No manipulation and acupuncture should not too deep in the acute stage.Treatment course:acupuncture once a day,rest every 5 days for 2 days,a total of 20 times of treatment.Evaluation indexes:(1)main indexes:static evaluation scale of facial nerve function,and dynamic score of facial nerve function.(2)secondary indexes:H-B scale and FDI scale.Evaluation time points:before each treatment and 3 days,30 days and 90 days after the end of all treatment.3 Results(1)Main evaluation indexes:there was no difference of static evaluation between two groups;There was no difference of dynamic evaluation between two groups.After treatment in the stage acupuncture group,the static score of facial nerve function was lower than before,and the dynamic score of facial nerve function was higher than before.The results were the same in the conventional acupuncture group.(2)secondary evaluation indexes:there was no difference of the total groups of H-B score between two groups;There was no difference among FDI score between two groups.In the staging acupuncture treatment group,the total score of H-B after treatment was higher than that before treatment,and the total score of FDI was higher than that before treatment.The results were the same in the conventional acupuncture group.4 ConclusionThe staged acupuncture therapy and the conventional acupuncture therapy that began the intervention in the acute stage have a good effect on bell’s palsy,and the results of the present study cannot prove the difference in the efficacy between the two groups.
