Study On The Latecomer Firms' Disruptive Innovation Path And Its Evolution Mechanism-co-evolution Of Technological Innovation And Business Model Innovation

With the deepening of the process of global economic integration,many multinational corporations have established a dominant technological track and successful business model to occupy the high end of the value chain for a long time,and have established a huge leading edge in the market of developing countries.A large number of latecomer enterprises are faced with the double inferiority of technology and market.The factors such as technical barrier and market monopoly make the latecomer enterprises locked in the low end of the value chain and it is difficult to realize the surmounting to the high value-added link.While disruptive innovation is an effective strategic tool for latecomers to make rational use of their own resources in order to avoid the positive competition with mature enterprises.How to combine the actual situation of enterprises to explore the disruptive innovation path suitable for our national conditions is very important for the latecomer enterprises to realize catching up.Based on the review of relevant literature,this paper analyzes the case data of five latecomers from the perspective of co-evolution of technological innovation and business model innovation by using the method of combining multi-case analysis with ground theory.Based on the coding results,this paper constructs the disruptive innovation path model of the latecomer enterprise,and discusses the internal evolution mechanism of the path.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:(1)A case study of disruptive innovation in latecomer firms.From the point of view of collaborative innovation between technology and business model,this paper revolves around the theme of disruptive innovation of latecomer enterprises.According to the program of open coding,axial coding,selective coding,this paper analyzes the data of five representative enterprises and develops the story line of disruptive innovation in the spiral comparative analysis.(2)The construction and interpretation of the path model of the latecomers' disruptive innovation.Based on the results of the code analysis in the previous chapter,this paper constructs the path model of the latecomer firms' disruptive innovation and expounds in detail the realization path of the disruptive technological innovation and the disruptive business model innovation in the path model.The interactive driving effect of technological innovation and business model innovation is discussed.(3)An analysis of the evolution mechanism of disruptive Innovation path in latecomer firms.Based on logical paradigm of evolution driver-evolution carrier-evolution result,this paper analyzes the influence of the four driving factors on the co-evolution of technological innovation and business model innovation,and how the co-evolution mechanism can promote the process of disruptive innovation in latecomer enterprises.The research shows that disruptive innovation is not an event,but a process of changing the original technological paradigm and market competition pattern through collaborative innovation between technology and business model.The evolution process of disruptive technological innovation is mainly through the three stages of secondary innovation-integrated innovation-original innovation.The innovation of disruptive business model is a system engineering that includes value proposition design,value creation reconstruction,value transmission optimization,value acquisition improvement.There is an interactive drive effect between the two.The technological environment,market structure,competitors and entrepreneurship play an important role in promoting the co-evolution of technological innovation and business model innovation,and the co-evolution mechanism between them is the key mode for the latecomer enterprises to realize disruptive innovation.On the one hand,this study theoretically enriches the application category of disruptive innovation and identifies the interactive driving and co-evolution mechanism of technology and business model in the process of disruptive innovation.On the other hand,it provides a strategic reference for Chinese manufacturing enterprises to develop disruptive innovation and realize latecomers' catch-up.
