Software Defined Networking(SDN)proposes two important ideas: separating the data plane from the control plane and programmable network control.The control plane controls the switching equipment through the Southbound Interfaces protocol,and the switching devices only needs to forward packets in accordance with the rules of the control plane configuration.With the traditional network structure becoming increasingly rigid and difficult to adapt to the new technology,SDN has become a new network framework to break the monopoly of equipment manufacturers and speed up the network innovation.Since the SDN consolidates the control functions of each switching device to the external controller,it forms a highly centralized "intelligent" control plane,and a large number data planes without local control ability,allow the SDN in the actual deployment and expansion of facing the challenges.The control of the plane and the data plane interaction overhead is high,easy to produce performance bottlenecks;transmission and processing delay increases lead to error and usability problems;the controller of single point of failure will increase the security risks of the entire network;Open Flow protocol is limited to fully support the application of all kinds of network.In view of the above challenges,this paper studies the intelligent problem of SDN network data plane.The main work and innovation points include:1.A light intelligent data plane model-DEAL is proposed.The DEAL model consists of three parts: the Forwarder,the Sensor module,and the Actuator module.The Forwarder module guarantees the efficient forwarding of data packets.The Sensor module performs the preprocessing of statistical data,and the Actuator module triggers a priori rules and complex actions.The three module to achieve a certain degree of autonomy in the supervision and pre-operation controller configuration,the data plane has lightweight and low level of intelligence,can reduce the controller flow load from the root,and keep the system stable run.2.The key technology of DEAL is researched deeply.The reconfigurable design strategy of the Forwarder is proposed,which can effectively support the data packet to the orientation of the Sensor module and the Actuator module.A collaborative technology based on light-intelligence layer is proposed to rapidly deploy support strategy and implementation.Active measurement mechanism to help solve the problem of limited action of the Open Flow protocol.3.Designed DEAL prototype system,which is based on multi-core CPU and FPGA platform,designed to support 8 Gigabit forwarding line input,flow asymmetry measurement and induction strategy of flow cleaning,to achieve a rapid detection and defense of DDo S,verify that the DEAL model can reduce the data interaction overhead,reduce the communication and processing delay,improve the network security and scalability.In summary,DEAL can achieve high-speed and flexible network processing,while significantly reducing the control plane and data plane communication overhead,reduce communication and processing delay,can effectively solve the difficult problem of large-scale expansion of SDN,has theoretical significance and practical value to enhance the robustness and efficiency of the network.
