Emotional Mobilization Of Rumors In Internet Events

Nowadays,with the development trend of high informatization and the convenience of mobile interconnection,people rely more and more on the Internet to access information.Cyberspace has become the center of information dissemination and the platform of rumour propagation and dissemination.In the transitional period of China,once the complex social contradictions derived from the unfair allocation of social resources are presented on the popular Internet,netizens participate in it one after another based on moral judgment and emotional resonance.All kinds of appeals are intertwined and spread,the source of information can not be verified,beyond a certain limit,rumors will spread widely.Rumors in network incidents have a strong dissemination power,and are easy to confuse netizens to interact with each other.By exploring the reasons,we can find that emotional factors play a very important role in them.For a long time,the accumulation of psychological emotions is the basis of rumors,and the powerful strength of rumors is easy to further stimulate the mood of the masses.Throughout the whole process of network events,we can find the interaction between rumors and emotions.Therefore,it is particularly necessary to make an in-depth study of how rumors mobilize through emotion.This paper takes the incident of "Shanghai girls fleeing Jiangxi countryside" in2016 as an example,and takes the content and comments of Weibo in the topic of "Seeing the first meal and wanting to break up" on Sina Weibo as the research text,summarizes and analyses it.By exploring the emotional factors contained in these rumors,this paper analyses how the emotions in the network incident move the spread of rumors.Member.It is found that the emotional tendencies expressed in the event can be divided into three categories: sympathy and anger,prank and banter,threat andfear,which play an important role in forming consensus and discourse support,accumulating emotional energy,generating resonance and intensifying the development of events.After the accumulation of emotions reaches a certain level,the individual emotions in the event are magnified to the martyr of the whole society by constructing scenes that conform to the established emotional structure to detonate emotions.Secondly,through the construction of collective identity,we can divide the interest antagonistic groups and gradually form the collective identity of the vulnerable groups.Once the background and identity of the event are established and the sense of identity is established,the antagonism between the two parties of interest will change qualitatively and turn to the direction of social struggle.In this case,the construction of network public discourse,and through emotional repeated mobilization,eventually triggered collective action.
