With the rapid development of 3D technology, the application of 3D technology is also more and more widely.Nowdays,3D technology is widely used in entertainment, advertising media, health care, virtual reality and military defense industries. The popularity of stereoscopic movies has promoted the development of 3D technology, and once stereoscopic cameras and stereoscopic displays are popularized, users will hope to edit 3D images just like editing 2D images. At present,it is hard to directly apply the method of 2D image editing to 3D images because 3D images need to introduce additional constraints.Stereoscopic image cloning is an important branch of stereoscopic image editing.Currently, there are still some challenges in stereoscopic image cloning.Firstly,in order to ensure disparity consistency, disparity of the specified region of the source stereoscopic image needs to be adjusted.Secondly,in order to clone accurately,The size of the specified region of the source stereoscopic image should be adjusted according to disparity and camera spacing. To meet the requirement of manipulating stereoscopic images for users,a stereoscopic image cloning method based on linear constraint and different camera spacings is presented in this paper, which precisely clone the specified region of the source stereoscopic image into the target stereoscopic image by iterative adjustment. In order to better guide the image warping,we proposed a contour line determination method to adjust the contour drawn by the user.We also proposed a scale factor based on camera spacing and disparity. Then, the proposed algorithm uses perspective scaling function, linear constraint function, disparity constraint function and position fixed function to adjust the size of the specified region of the source stereoscopic image, ensure the precisely cloned stereoscopic images are disparity-matched,and protect the structure.Experimental results indicate that the proposed algorithm can better clone the stereoscopic image shot by different stereo cameras seamlessly.
