A Study On The Questioning Strategies In Television Person Interview Programs

Person interview TV program is the most typical and popular type among talk shows,however,the research on it is often limited in the scope of the general and the single point of view.It is the key to the success of character interview TV program that how does a host apply questioning strategies to carry out interviews,to center round the theme,to implement the task and to achieve the purpose.Therefore,this paper,based on the theory of conversation analysis,analyzes the character interview program host's questioning strategies to the guest in the session.This research summarizes and clarifies the concept of character interview program.Combined with concrete analysis of corpus,it classifies and sorts out the function distribution of questioning process,with domestic interviews "Yi's Opinion" and "A Date With Luyu" as the good example of TV programs and the source of corpus,which covers the traditional media and new media platforms with about 2500 minutes and 700000 words.Starting from the perspective of pragmatics and based on the conversation analysis theory and the theory of pragmatics and radio and television art,this study unearths the multi-dimensional relationship among the host,guest and audiences.At the same time,the localization development of talk show is considered under the new media environment and that questioning strategies are the core of the character interview program process is put forward innovatively.It classifies the patterns of the questioning purpose,function,process and questioning strategies,which designs three policy models of questioning strategies in keeping with the practice of radio and television theory and has progressive significance to the theory construction of talk show research and the practice of talk show host.
