2016 is the first year of paying for knowledge.After three years of development,more and more related works have been written.However,at present,most of the researches are limited to the reasons for the rise and future development trend,the payment mode of products,the willingness of users to pay,etc.,and little attention has been paid to content production.Knowledge payment is the sale of content,content is the core of its development,and the research on content production is indispensable.The predecessor of knowledge payment is knowledge sharing.However,the current research on knowledge payment does not pay attention to this historical development process,and it is incomplete or one-sided to estimate the future prospect from the current development.Enter the Web2.0 era,knowledge sharing is via the user more collaborative production,for this reason,this article in the perspective of collaborative production,in the context of transformation from knowledge sharing and knowledge to pay,after the research into business mechanism,what changes have taken place in the cooperation between the user and have any effect on the content of the present,and to think about knowledge for the future.Zhihu is the most representative based on user q&a knowledge sharing site,launched in 2016 on zhihu live,also become one of most influential knowledge payment platform in China,from zhihu to zhihu live,witnessed the evolution process of knowledge sharing to pay,"collaborative production" is the main mode of zhihu content production,in this paper,based on three major characteristics of the collaborative production,using content analysis and the method of depth interview,to explore the change of paid content before and after production.The research shows that after the introduction of the payment mechanism,the content topics are highly concentrated,and the discourse power is also concentrated in the hands of a few professionals.The incentive effect of money is very limited.Altruistic psychology and self-improvement are always important motives of content producers.The presentation of content has shifted from user-led to platform-led again.Finally,based on the research summary and observation in the research process,the author analyzes the difficulties in the development of knowledge payment,and puts forward corresponding improvement strategies.It is an important reason for zhihu live to show a declining trend in just three years that it regards knowledge payment as a traditional buying and selling relationship and ignores the role of collaborative production.
