The rhetorical practice of visual power on audiences is to activate the meaning of image events by using visual grammar rules and symbolic representation systems,thus affecting the viewers' perceptions,emotions and behaviors.In the cyberspace,which takes visual sense as the main form of information is influenced by social environment,communication ecology,new technology.Therefore,the paper discusses the effect and influence of visual rhetoric practice on network emotion by means of case study,media content analysis and so on.Through the rhetoric analysis of Internet public opinion events in recent years,combining with the meaning and characteristics of new media visual rhetoric,this paper thinks the "emotional bias" is the main characteristic of visual rhetoric in new media environment.on this basis,exploring the role and process of visual rhetoric in new media environment,and defining it as "emotional setting",and combine the important cases.This paper summarizes the influence of visual rhetoric practice on group emotion in the process of new media communication,and the general performance and characteristics of group emotion under this influence,and rethinks the emotional visual rhetoric and its emotional problems.
