With the development of color science and the rapid development of display equipment and imaging technology,color information can be displayed on multi-media devices.However,due to the different color rendering mechanism of various media devices,how to ensure the consistency of color reproduction between devices has become an important research topic.Therefore,after the image is transmitted between different media devices,there will be a problem of color inconsistency,which will cause many troubles to the industrial field and daily life,and image information will also be different under different light source environment for the same color target.This can be a hindrance in the course of research.With the development of color management system,color correction of different media devices through color management has become the main application nowadays,but the color management is relatively simple.Only sRGB color management method is the most widely used in all device media,and the color reproduction effect is not satisfactory.With the development of science and technology,the color gamut space of Adobe RGB is more extensive than that of sRGB with the development of Adobe RGB color management method.To solve this problem,this paper proposes two optimization algorithms to solve the problem of color inconsistency in cross-media color reproduction between different media devices.In this paper,we first put forward that using Adobe RGB color gamut with better color performance as color research space,according to chrominance theory knowledge and colorimetric characterization algorithm,we can realize cross-media color reproduction from digital camera to liquid crystal display.In practical application,in order to prove the feasibility and applicability of the algorithm,this paper designs two kinds of light source environment cross-media color reproduction,and according to the experimental data.Using different color space(i.e.CIELAB,CAM16-UCS)to compare the color difference with the real value of the object.Experiments show that the algorithm can effectively reduce the color difference between devices after cross-media color reproduction.Considering the singularity of the algorithm,the cross-media color reproduction from digital camera to liquid crystal display is realized by using CAT16 color adaptation model and colorimetric characterization algorithm according to the theory of color appearance theory.In the same paper,we design cross-media color reproduction under two kinds of light sources and compare the color difference between different color space(i.e.CIELAB,CAM16-UCS)and the real value of theobject according to the experimental data.Experiments show that the algorithm can also effectively reduce the color difference between devices after cross-media color reproduction,considering many factors such as light source environment,color space,colorimetric and color appearance,etc.The two cross-media color reproduction optimization algorithms proposed in this paper are more effective.The results show that the two algorithms are superior to the current color management system.Regarding the color inconsistency of cross-media color reproduction in color management system,the two algorithms we proposed can solve the problem effectively.In the future development,it can be applied to both industry applications and daily life,which sets a new starting point for the further development of color image cross-media reproduction.
