Design And Implementation Of Campus Activity Information Service System Based On LBS

With the rapid development of mobile communication technology and the gradual popularization of smart phones in China,it is more and more convenient for people to obtain network information services in the mobile process and the demand is also growing.Location factors are closely related to people's production and life.In recent years,new location-based mobile Internet services are emerging,and providing location-based personalized services for users has become one of the new hot spots.In the university campus,various campus activities are often organized by the school,but there are some shortcomings in the publicity of the activities: for example,the scope of publicity is not wide enough,some students can not notice the information of campus activities;the publicity of activities is lack of pertinence,some students always receive some activities that are not related to themselves or that they are not interested in;the publicity of activities could not be combined with location factors,although some students have received information about activities that they are interested in,they finally give up participating in the campus activities because of the long distance of activities or the fact that they could not find the place for activities.Under this background,this thesis studies the campus activity information service system based on LBS.The system takes Wuhan Campus of Yangtze University as the experimental area,and on the basis of a full survey of users,campus activities are divided into academic,cultural,entertainment,sports,outdoor,recruitment and other seven categories.The system supports activity publishers to publish these seven types of campus activities,and integrates all kinds of campus activities information they publish.It also displays the location of these campus activities on the electronic map to facilitate users to understand the surrounding campus activities information.At the same time,it can recommend personalized campus activities information according to users' preferences and locations,and guide users to participate in campus activities that they are interested in.According to the survey,it is found that the Petroleum Science and Technology Building in Wuhan Campus of Yangtze University is an important venue for academic and recruitment activities on campus,but its structure is complex and it is difficult for students to find indoor location.To solve this problem,the system provides indoor map service of Petroleum Science and Technology Building Based on ArcGIS platform.In addition,the system also provides a series of services such as social networking,information statistics and so on.After the design,implementation and testing of the system,we selected some users to use the system.According to their feedback,the system is convenient for publishers to publish campus activities,and the publicity effect is good;the system guides users to participate in campus activities effectively that they are interested in,which is conducive to exploring their interests and potentials,and also enriching campus life.The social network service provided by the system is conducive to making friends and expanding the scope of communication.Overall,the system has been well received by users.In summary,the system is worth of using and popularizing.
