Stigmatization:Fandom Of Fostered Idols As A Marginal Group

With the rapid development of China's cultural and entertainment industry in recent years,various emerging industrial models and cultural types have also begun to rise rapidly,and the culture of fostered idols is a typical representative about that.Thanks to the help of today's prosperous social networks,this culture has spread rapidly and become popular.Most of the fostered idols are active as the "popular flow" among performing stars,and their fan community has become one of the most noticeable groups among the online community.But contrary to their strong developmental phenomenon,in the context of the discourse authority represented by the mainstream media,they often appear as images carrying negative labels and become the subject of stigma.This uncoordinated situation makes them are facing abrupt and awkward marginalization.This paper takes the virtual ethnography and text analysis as the main research method,and uses the social network as the observation field.Firstly,it makes a three-dimensional comprehensive observation on the emerging group of the idol and its fan community.There are some abnormal behaviors in the interactive ritual,which has become the origin of their group stigma.After that,this paper studies the media image of the fan community through text analysis.It is believed that in the report texts of this group by the mainstream authority and the mass media,the abnormal behavior of this group has become the focus and report.And the stigma label brought by these acts has become the most obvious image feature of this group.However,as a new cultural group that is highly regarded among young people,if the fan community has always existed in the public as a stigmatized image and a marginalized group,then this embarrassing situation will definitely affect this emerging situation.Culture and even the benign development of the entire cultural and entertainment industry.Therefore,from the conclusion of the previous research,the possibility and feasible method of delisting this group are discussed.It is believed that the self-effort of this group and the guidance of the authoritative media are all necessary ways to decontaminate.It is hoped that through this decontamination method,it is possible to find a feasible way to coordinate the benign development of emerging culture and social environment.
