With the continuous development of Internet technology and the coming of the era of big data,social media has gradually become an indispensable part of people's lives,and the development of social media advertising is also changing with each passing day.Among the various types of social media advertisements,News Feed Advertisements,as the representative of emerging advertisements,stand out with its unique advantages and charm.Under the background of the traditional advertising industry facing operational difficulties,reduced advertising effects,and strong emotional resistance,the emergence of News Feed Advertisements undoubtedly brings a new dawn to the advertising industry.However,the "China News Feed advertising User Insight Report 2017" published by iResearch Consulting shows that only 24.5%of the netizens can accept the News Feed Advertisements in social media,so how to solve the dilemma faced by social media News Feed Advertisement in China has become an urgent problem to be solved.This paper first traces the origin of social media and News Feed Advertisements,explaining their concepts,characteristics and types.Based on the principles of advertising,marketing,communication and design,we select three representative social media at home and abroad-Sina microblog,Tencent WeChat and Facebook,to conduct in-depth research on the News Feed Advertisements,to discuss the development of Chinese and foreign social media News Feed Advertisements,the types of advertisements,the differences in advertising strategies,and deeply explores the problems existing in China's information flow advertisement display methods,advertisement design,targeted users,background review,and user privacy protection.In view of the three aspects of advertisers,social media and users in the process of News Feed Advertising,practical development countermeasures are proposed.At the same time,the views in this paper can also be used as reference for the optimization of other media types of social media development strategies.
