In recent years,Augmented Reality(Augmented Reality,abbreviated as AR)has made great progress in practical applications.The concept of AR is also known by more and more people.With the popularity of the AR concept and the display effect achieved by using AR technology,it is very suitable for product display.More and more manufacturers choose to use AR technology to show their products to their consumers.Compared with the traditional product display in the form of pictures or videos,using AR technology not only makes the display effect of the product more realistic,but also can add interactive modules in it so that the user can actually experience the product without leaving home.These features can undoubtedly enhance the user experience of the product in marketing and display.Since at the present stage,wearable devices(AR head display devices)equipped with more sensors for augmented reality technology development has not yet been popularized,and at the same time,the processing speed and display performance of mobile phones are constantly improving,the mobile terminal is the most suitable intelligent computing platform for augmented reality applications at this stage.This article mainly introduces the programming and implementation of an automotive display system based on augmented reality technology used on mobile devices.The system is based on the basic needs of the actual project,using the Unity3 D engine as a tool for developing and implementing the model rendering,adopting domestic HiAR SDK as a suite for realizing augmented reality effects,and selecting 2D image-based recognition technology to implement 3D model tracking.Compared to the monotonous display mode of augmented reality that is commonly used in the market at the present stage,this system has added rich interactions in the AR scenario.When using the system,the user can control the displayed car model through the 2D UI in the mobile phone interface or the 3D UI in the AR virtual scene,so as to fully understand the functions and features of the car.The ability to interact directly with the model in the scene highlights the fact that augmented reality technology can provide users with a sensory experience that exceeds reality.The article mainly describes the system framework design,the recognition logic and the interaction logic,as well as the detailed realization of various types of display functions in the project requirements.After completing the development of the system,this article also attempts to use the SLAM-based tracking technology in the newly released ARKit of Apple Inc.to re-implement the augmented reality tracking module in the system.At present,the online version of the system,which use this system as interactive prototype with multiple iterations,is already facing the commercial market,and its effectiveness has also been widely recognized by users.
