In the field of virtual assembly,the research goals of domestic and foreign scholars have gradually changed from basic assembly function development to the improvement of user assembly operation experience with the continuous development of virtual reality technology.In recent years,the development of somatosensory interaction technology has enriched the virtual assembly interaction mode and improved the user's operating experience.This study uses Unity3 D as a development platform,Kinect as a virtual interactive device,and combines augmented reality technology to develop an interactive virtual assembly system based on gesture recognition,which has a certain degree of importance in improving the human-machine interaction experience and immersive experience of the virtual assembly system.First,the development environment of virtual assembly system was built.The user's demand for the immersive virtual assembly system was analyzed,and the development goal of the virtual assembly system was determined.The virtual assembly development platform and interaction equipment were selected,and the data connection between the Unity3 D and the Kinect sensor was completed.The implementation scheme of augmented reality is designed,the system development framework is determined,and the system development scenario is constructed preliminarily.Then,the interactive control method of the virtual assembly system was studied and implemented.The Kinect human recognition was studied,virtual interactive gestures were designed,and gesture recognition technology was used to achieve the control of scene perspective.The interactive control model movement and rotation functions were realized by using ray tracing technology,collision detection technology,coordinate conversion technology and other technologies.The Unity3 D shader color rendering technology was used to set the model highlight color.The scene parts management is realized through the design of UI interaction,and the human-computer interaction virtual assembly prototype system is developed.Finally,the virtual assembly function in the augmented reality environment was tested.The augmented reality display was achieved by using an external camera method.The feasibility of virtual gestures by clicking on the UI button for model management,gestures interacting to control the perspective of the scene,and the feasibility of controlling model movement and rotation assembly operations was verified.The development of the interactive virtual assembly system was completed.
