With the rapid development of network technology,embedded technology and computer technology in recent years,the Internet of things is becoming more and more popular.As an important part of the Internet of things,video monitoring technology has been widely used in the fields of industry,transportation and medical treatment.It is becoming diversified,miniaturized,specialized and intelligent.The direction of development.In this paper,after analyzing and studying the features,the future development trend and the related technologies of the existing video surveillance systems,a video monitoring system for small places such as family is designed.First of all,build the software and hardware development platform of the system.The hardware platform of the system uses JZ2440 development board,with S3C244 A as a microprocessor,with peripheral power,memory card and serial port,and the JZ2440 embedded development board as the server,and realizes the interconnection of the USB-CMOS dual camera,the WIFI network card of AR9271,the PC machine or the client of the mobile phone and the server.The software adopts the Linux operating system,establishes the cross compilation environment,transplants the U-Boot and Linux kernel,establishes the root file system,and completes the construction of the software development environment.Secondly,the design of the application module of the video surveillance system is completed.The acquisition module uses a plug and play two in one USB-CMOS camera,according to the video acquisition standard of V4L2,and writes the camera driver.The collected video data is compressed by DSP chip and converted into the format of MJPEG,and the video compression coding is realized.The design and writing of the WIFI network card component LAN of AR9271 is designed and written.The script program of the network card is cut and optimized,and the data transmission of AP wireless hot spot mode isrealized.The MJPEG-streamer video server is transplanted and cut,and the real-time monitoring of the video is realized in the PC machine browser or the client of the mobile phone.Finally,the root file system,the camera acquisition module,the network card module,the mobile client and the whole system are tested.The test results show that the functional modules are reliable and stable,the client-side images are not stuck,smooth and clear,and the desired design goals are achieved.The modular design method is adopted in the system,which reduces the cost of the system,improves the practicability of the system,and expands the application scope of the system.
