Research On Gerber File Parsing And G Code Conversion Technology

With the Internet of things such as the concept of intelligent hardware continues to popular,the circuit board processing industry has become more and more attention.The design of an engraving machine for the manufacture of electronic circuit boards by mechanically engraving on CCLs eliminates the environmental pollution problems caused by corrosion-processing circuit boards and,to a large extent,Personal custom development requirements,shorten the hardware development cycle.Based on the regular matching algorithm and the graphic image processing algorithm,this paper designs a kind of computer aided manufacturing software to extract the graphic image from the Gerber file generated by the PCB design software,which can not be used directly for the circuit board engraving.Information,seek processing path,and eventually converted to NC processing required G code file.The overall structure of the design by the file input and output,Gerber file resolution,graphical interface display,processing path and G code conversion and other components.In the aspect of algorithm design,the Gerber file is matched according to the regular expression to complete the lexical analysis of the parser,and the primitive information is extracted according to the top-down parsing method.After the primitive information is obtained,Image edge picking algorithm and scalar graphics vectorization algorithm to achieve the processing path to obtain the final processing of the processing path data in accordance with the G code file format to be packaged and output in text form.After the experiment,the design scheme proposed in this paper can realize the conversion of Gerber file into the G code format for circuit board engraving,which can meet the requirements of mechanical engraving circuit board.
