With the improvement of the economic and the continuous development of the Internet,the types and quantity of services that the network can provide are increasing,and it has become a very important part of people's daily life.In recent years,the network construction scale of colleges and universities has been expanding,and its application has penetrated all aspects of campus life.The higher vocational colleges,compared with the ordinary colleges and universities in China,aimed at cultivating technical talents,its importance for the current Chinese higher education cannot be ignored.However,there are still some problems in the construction of campus network in higher vocational colleges.The number of teachers and students,teachers and campus environment are all different from that of ordinary colleges.Therefore,the construction of campus network in higher vocational colleges needs to be designed in terms of its characteristics in more detail.To address these problems,this paper analyzes and designs the campus network system of higher vocational colleges based on the characteristics of higher vocational colleges.First of all,by analyzing and comparing the EPON technology with the asymmetrical digital subscriber line technology and the GPON technology and analyzing the advantages of the EPON technology compared with the traditional wireless LAN technology,we select the passive optical network as the basis for transmission network while WLAN technology as a terminal access means as technology program,which cleverly combines the advantages of the two technologies,not only controlling the cost in a certain range,but also ensuring the stability of the campus network,availability and reliability.Secondly,based on the actual situation of higher vocational college,we make overall design of campus network construction,including topology structure,layout structure,optical cable coverage and related budget.In addition,the paper analyzes and designs the campus network model of the three major network areas of higher vocational colleges in detail and makes relevant optimization.Finally,this paper starts with the security problems of the higher vocational college campus network,designs its security architecture,and finally solves the network security problems existing in higher vocational colleges,ensuring that its campus network runs in a safe,stable and efficient manner.
