BF hearth life is affected seriously by the extent of erosion of the BF hearth,now,It's a pressing problem for BF workers to reduce the erosion of the BF hearth,improve the life of BF hearth,and explore the impacts of the BF hearth.In order to further study the influence of the state of the dead material on the flow of molten iron in the hearth,based on the combination with the computer simulation technology,and the development of the simulation software for the flow of molten iron in the hearth,the flow of hot metal in the hearth of the BF is simulated numerically and analyzed in this paper,and then,the erosion degree of the side wall and the bottom of the furnace can be analyzed.The main research of this paper are concluded as follows:a)Based on the governing equations of computational fluid dynamics,a mathematical model of the molten iron flow in the hearth is established.The finite volume method and the simple method are used to simulate the mathematical model of hot metal flow in the hearth.The hot metal flow in the hearth is analyzed under different influencing factors.b)Based on Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 development environment,using C# language to build numerical simulation software of flow of molten iron of BF hearth to simulate the hot metal flow of the BF hearth under different influencing factors.Open GL three-dimensional technology and calling external software and others methods are used to simulate the flow of molten iron in this software,and ultimately,a report of the results will be generated.c)Based on FLUENT's secondary development interface and Journal logs file,FLUENT is developed secondary.Developed an universal simulation software platform,which is not just for sole hearth,but for any hearth,and the platform is general,universal,and simple for these BF workers who just know technique,don't know computer,and improve the work efficiency.
